Neon Ghosts is our little detour into a completely different world – away from the dark realms, diving into a synthetic ocean of neon lights, retro beats, and cyberpunk melancholy. This synthwave–electro–ambient album is a passion project by Raphaela Hartmann, Sascha Häusler, and Thomas Kaiser – all devoted fans of synthwave and cyberpunk culture.

We simply couldn’t resist exploring this genre ourselves – painting glitch-stars across the digital sky and creating soundscapes that feel like neon rain, chrome dreams, and distant cityscapes.

This is just our first step – an experiment, a side project made with love and pure fun.

“Ikarus” is a retro synthwave journey that soars on wings of light and sound. The track takes flight with punchy arpeggios, driving forward like a heartbeat against the night sky. Shimmering synth plucks sparkle like distant stars, weaving intricate patterns that dance across the mix with nostalgic elegance.

Beneath it all, airy pads drift and expand, creating a sense of boundless space—like gliding above neon cities and endless horizons. The atmosphere is both dreamlike and propulsive, balancing delicate textures with radiant energy.

“Ikarus” captures the essence of a flight too close to the sun: bold, radiant, and endlessly ascending—a sonic tribute to the beauty and risk of chasing the impossible.
