"Today You, Tomorrow Me". It was inspired by a stranger going out of his way to help me carry a wine fridge down the street after seeing me struggle... He said "today you, tomorrow me". Once I got home, I wrote this tune.

Release Notes:
The aural landscape provided by "Today You, Tomorrow Me" is replete with atmospheric context. Emotive images of hope and optimism wend their way through the opener as if travelling down a coruscating mountain road, confronted by a dramatic landscape as the world around converges in a moment of epiphany. Awe-inspiring natural forces then provide a backdrop of mental imagery as rolling waves and white horses translate to musicals equivalents throughout the "7am Mix".

Sieg's mastery provokes contemplation as the jagged beats of "On Your Own" jut out of the aural landscape akin to rocks rising up through an ominous and brooding seascape. Juxtaposed against this are soft and mellifluous melodic patterns that rise and fall in flowing beauty around their beat driven counterparts with effortless ease; waves coalesce and dissipate around the rock edges occasionally crashing into their surface with dramatic impact.

Outwardly innocuous in its opening movement, the "Unique Repeat" remix stands apart. Images of significant portent are summoned as a dramatic bass line matches a foreboding skyline before a crystalline lead line lacerates the audioscape, piercing a barren landscape with driving rain while simultaneously providing a sense of cleansing hope and vibrancy.

Light transforms dark; hope meets expectation.

In 2020, the melodic progressive world was taken by storm by Japan's own, Yusuke Teranishi. His debut album, Over the World's clouds, having followed a streak of buzz-generating EP's and singles, was a successful and eye-opening release that further ventured this talented artist into the top yearly producers. Fast forward a year later and we're ecstatic to unveil a project the whole progressive community should be proud of, the remixed album of the aforementioned release. Bringing together no less than 18 remixers for stunning renditions, spanning from pure melodic progressive gems, to deeper organic house cuts and inventive melo ambient pieces, this is a joy to listen to from start to end. Returning here on Synth, this is Yusuke Teranishi with 'Over the world's clouds' in remixed form, a telltale of both our hemispheres coming together within music.

Then we are back with more melody driven progressive music, totally made for sundrenched beaches and sunny days. We are as thrilled as ever as we see a lot of familiar faces join back on our PHW main label, as we see the collaboration between Morrison Kiers & Musty land and it is with great pleasure we see them join back on our imprint.

For those of you following the scene for a while will know that this will be a progressive journey full of emotion, sparkling melodic arrangements and a plethora of “feel good vibes” so made for the summer season. It’s as fresh as ever from them, and we don’t think they in any way will disappoint you.

To flavour things up, we see two additional remixes as well to bring out more diversity on the release and we welcome back the services of Poland based producer Ledo to the family once more. For those, who been with us in the past knows this is a producer making echos through his trademark melody driven music, and here is another one walking that alley, as we see another phenomenal remix, including rich melodic arrangements and textures. It is as fresh as ever from this up and coming producer and we can already reveal that in a few weeks time, you will be able to hear him through the label again, but for now, enjoy this masterpiece from Ledo. 

The second of the remix, is a more high octane and energetic production, taking us to to Vienna, Austria and a welcome return on the label from rising talent Axxound. He has established himself as a producer known for his fusion of trance and melodic progressive and that is right where he will put us through his journey. Be ready for vocal samples added on, as well as a boosted energy level that we definitely feel is to give you a rush.
