We welcome back the talented upriser Imperss to Summer Melody, with his debut EP on the label, the two-track pairing Perfect Day and Free Soul, we also have Cosmaks and Deni Sunrise on the remixes.

The two originals, Perfect Day and Free Soul delivers uplifting summer vibes. The warming piano melodies in Perfect Day scatter across the whole track, while the slower Free Soul has a solid bassline and chord pairing, with airborne pads and melodies flowing through.

This summer EP also include two remixes for each track. Featured on Summer Melody 100, we welcome melodic veteran Cosmaks on the remix of the title track. Enhances the original summer sensations, this upbeat approach lifts the original with melodic arps, background vocals and widen chords and pads. Deni Sunrise remixes on the second track Free Soul, with his own more simplistic yet melodic twist, having his own melodies pairing with the original chords and pads, delivering a taste of smooth and silky texture.

It is time to bring back the immense talent of Alex H to the PHW roster, as we see him joining us once more with a brand new 3 track EP being placed in your hands. We of course feel proud to bring him back to us each and every time he want to join us, as he is one of the closest friends to us running the label and while quickly growing and making a reputation on the scene through his music, he is one that always has both feet on the ground and those people we need a lot more of in this world. We certainly want to push him for as long as he wants it through PHW.

This new EP also means a new chapter in life for Alex as he now is making the move away from Australia to hit down in the UK. We of course wish him all the best on his journey. 

This EP is another one with his creative melodic rides being brought on, and first out is another of his absolutely rocking melodic gems that we have seen from him so many times. The opener and the title track “Auf Wiedersehen” is a fantastic production where he once again own the DAW and delivering his majestic chord progressions, stiff melodic hooks and an atmosphere built up that we are so certain that his and our fans will love.

“Bulawayo” as the 2nd track is titled is as some of you know the name of 2nd biggest city in Zimbabwe, a country where Alex been living some of his years on the planet. This is another beautiful melodic progressive track from the master himself. He will take you on a journey that will etch into your head where melodies and atmosphere is is the signum as always. 

Closing the door this time is the production titled as “Silver Lining”, a lovely little piece of progressive goodness from this beloved artist. With a calm and sensitive touch put on to this one, Alex once more proves what a rare talent he is, and we are certain that you are to like something from him on this EP.

It’s a true honor each and every time he takes part on PHW, hopefully you will enjoy this beautiful EP as much as we do!

It's always a special thrill to present new music from our dear friend Derek Silvester, a.k.a. Dezza, as he approaches nearly a decade of consistently emotive and uplifting contributions to our label. The Halifax native continues to digest a wide variety of influences, in crafting a unique sound that defies electronic music epoch or genre. His latest offering, a two-track EP, is one of his most memorable to date.

The title cut, "Brit", features a retro house rhythm and bassline, an artist signature, and resplendent pads; all the while, a faint lead melody begins to emerge and crescendo. Suddenly, a heartbreaking, yet transcendentally beautiful theme emerges in the main break, led by a delicate piano and backed by sweeping strings. Ultimately, the sublime lead theme returns and catapults the arrangement into a euphoric anthem.

The B-side track, "Hello", is arguably the more club-flavored tune of the pair. A layered chord progression -- vintage Dezza -- establishes an exhilarating tone early, while a pitched down 'hello' echoes in the breakdown. Once again, we are met with a cinematic main breakdown, in which soaring strings imbue the listener with an almost overwhelming anticipation for the song's latter half. The jubilant drop does not disappoint; it's a triumphant moment from an artist who is as skilled behind the decks as he is in the studio.
