Hailing from the small county of East Lothian, Scotland, Duty Paid (aka Samuel Rattray) has risen through the ranks of the Soundcloud underground over the past 4 years, slowly but surely solidifying his name within the current electronic music stratosphere.

Elusive yet prolific, Duty Paid boasts an ever expanding catalog of self-releases and is by no means bound by genre or sound, seamlessly drawing the line between ghetto techno, hardgroove, jungle & beyond. With an ear for witty samples and a punk ethos, his sound bleeds originality, bringing a breath of fresh air amongst the commodities of modern dance music. 
His mixes reach into the weird pockets of electronic music, blending smutty vocals, percussive breaks and ambient soundscapes with the contemporary sounds of techno, ensuring a hefty delivery of “rapid-as-fuck grooves”.

With recent co-signs from the likes of SPFDJ, Patrick Mason & Partiboi69, Duty Paid is showing no signs of stopping any time soon, with the launch of his independent imprint, Neo-Fhoirfe, soon to be unveiled later this year.
