this was finished for awhile but saster wanted to add more stuff but never did. but i added some finishing touches to it and now i’m releasing it! it’s pretty simple but i think it’ll capture the charm the original had!

And yes, you read that correctly- this is Swunks' self-insert Megalo now, replacing Totally Screwed.
I also thought making it some sort of ICC vs. Swunks scenario would be funny, so there's that.

I am actually a bit upset cause I wasn't able to get the full potential of this track out of it. I've been mixing it so much that already at the square part It was laggy as heck. After that part I could'nt mix as good anymore and wasn't even able to add something like another reverb lmao. But yea I guess everything is due to my old laptop. I would've tried to add more original stuff to it but I guess thats how it is now. I am glad I even managed to finish this even though It crashed like 5 times on me.
Anyway probably the biggest inspiration for this was Case's cover, I'll link it down below. I hope you guys enjoy this.

THi: MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE has always been one of my favorite megalos tbh, and when I saw that TheBlazePage's birthday was coming up, I wanted to make something special for him, I got in touch with Zeroh about it, ShadeWolf approved the use of the midi, and I also sent an offer to TheTuneHero, who accepted. We each did what we could to make this as good as it could be, whether it be providing voice clips, paying attention to small details, using a real guitar for a part of it, or consulting the best of the best, in the end, I feel that what we've created here is something absolutely fantastic and we hope all of you enjoy

TheTuneHero: I’ve been trying to figure out an OVERDRIVE cover for a long time, gladly I got to collaborate on this one. I didn't get to do a ton besides some voice clips, the intro, and one section, but that was enough for me to help with this amazing project.
