Starship Tempest Theme

This started as a typical Jamuary Jam, but I used it as an excuse to max out the inputs on my studio and start January off with some content!

I'm trying to branch out into some more modern genres. I took some 1920's public domain blues and jazz songs, and sliced up a few samples to make a chill hop piece. I dig it.

Intersection

Here is some more of the new style I'm playing around. This time I sampled some old Al Jolson.

Old Al

Getting a bit more experimental by writing a source song, and then sampling myself to chop up. Inspired by nicer weather outside. Huge bass on this one.

Spring Beat

Continuing my journey through lite sampling work. One of these days, I'll sample more aggressively, but this one is pretty much all original parts aside from the piano.

A nice retro industrial piece. Playing with some new studio tricks. I had a lot of fun with this one. It came together pretty quick, but the tweaks took a while.

Fuse

This is an experimental piece which may still need some tweaking, but I'm putting it out there for people to have a fun listen. It's been sitting in the incomplete pile for way too long. It is a fun chopped up public domain jazz piece, with a nice swing to it.

Swing Chop

A little heavy spooky piece.  It started out stranger things, and got a little bit wild from there.

Just a peaceful idea I had while testing out some new drums. It made for a relaxing mantra, so I went with it!

An ambient piece in the synth wave style of things. No percussion on this track, but it's peaceful and wonderfully retro.

Playing around with the op-1 a bit more. This song ended up with a little bit of a west-coast vibe to it.
