Franck Hat

L’histoire musicale de Franck a commencé en 1990 et c’est une révélation. 
Il goûte à la deep house, à la house tech, à la techno. Puis arrive la trance progressive. 
Nous sommes dans les années 2000 et il se décide à créer ses morceaux, puis rencontre son Ami Lox D, c'est le début d'une collaboration ou s'enchaine les sorties sur Beatport. 
Depuis il essaye de faire danser les souliers de ceux qu'il croise en soirée,
entre puissance et finesse envoutante pétris de toutes ses influences, 
techno mélodique et techno ravageuse.

Franck's musical story began in 1990 and it is a revelation.
He tastes deep house, tech house, techno. Then comes progressive trance.
We are in the 2000s and he decides to create his songs, then meets his friend Lox D, it is the start of a collaboration where a series of releases on Beatport follow.
Since then he has tried to make the shoes of those he meets in the evening dance,
between power and captivating finesse steeped in all its influences,
melodic techno and devastating techno.

The DJ and producer from Madrid _asstnt breaks into the underground scene with an industrial, dirty, and melancholic sound. A romantic artist with a demonic soul capable of transmitting sweet sentimentality and the crudest violence.

Born in Madrid in the early 90s, music was instilled in him as a child as one of the most important arguments in his life. It was at the age of 13 when he became interested in her as a form of expression, acquiring his first turntables. He started into it with the hard house, a sound contemporary to this time and with high BPM, which would influence his subsequent sound. Later he became interested in harder sounds, such as hardstyle or hardcore, of which he fell in love with the dirty nature that would later make his sound so characteristic. In 2008 he began his studies, at the same time that he began to produce his music. For several years he dedicated himself to perfecting and improving his music.

In 2017 his first track arrived as _asstnt for the Involve Records compilation "5 Years in Love With Involve". “Chronicle Of A Love Foretold”, published together with the artist Roll Dann, is a melancholy hit that perfectly describes, due to its composition, a soul broken and devastated by heartbreak.

In 2020, _asstnt and Roll Dann decided to start their project together, "Opera 2000", a label whose first release saw the light of day in February 2020. "Back From The Morgue" arrives to shape the idea that the two Artists have "Opera 2000". The duality in the ‘techno’ concept is intended to reach clubbers or ravers to the choicest ears of other artists.

J’habite en Alsace dans le Bas-Rhin
Je suis une Très Grande Passionnée de Musique.
En 1998, j’ai commencé à côtoyer le milieu Techno lors de plusieurs séjours en Allemagne.
Depuis, j’ai toujours eu cet amour de la scène underground et des différents courants qui la composent.
En 2019, je commence à me lancer dans le mix en autodidacte ! 
Et depuis janvier 2k23 j’ai commencé à me lancer dans le mixe Vinyle ! un pur kiff !

Quand la musique nous touche jusqu'aux larmes, sans cause apparente, nous ne pleurons pas par excès de ravissement, mais par excès de douleur impatiente et impétueuse, de ce que nous ne pouvons encore, simples mortels, éprouver la plénitude de ces extases surhumaines que la musique nous fait entrevoir dans un aperçu indéfini et précurseur.

Tu joues quoi comme style de musique ?

Mon style de Musique est très varié…. Tout dépend du moment, de la ‘’vibes’’et des personnes qui m’entourent Mais j’ai une préférence particulière pour la Techno Old School, le Break Beat et le Hardcore Indus tout en passant par la HardTechno !
Faut que ça groove ! qu’il y est du punch quoi ! Que ça vibre dans mon corps et dans mon Âme.

Ce serait quoi ton endroit rêvé pour mixer ?

En Extérieur déjà c’est sûr ! Une colline dont les pentes sont douces

Il y en tellement ! Ma plus belle anecdote c’était à un anniversaire ou j’ai mixé, il y avait un enfant trisomique, et le voir lâcher prise devant le mur de son c’était juste MERVEILLEUX de voir son sourire et de le voir KIFFER tout simplement !

For over a decade now Christian Smith has been at the top of his game, and as one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, he has made his mark as a DJ, producer and label boss. Born in Stockholm, he had his formative years in Frankfurt, after which he spent some time in the USA before moving to Sao Paulo. Currently residing in Palma, Mallorca, you can say that his love for music is on par with his passion for experiencing different cultures, a lust for life which translate into his music and the success of his label, Tronic.

Since 1997 Tronic has been the go-to label for serious techno action, releasing tracks from the likes of Chus & Ceballos, ANNA, Paco Osuna, Loco & Jam, Kaiserdisco, Enrico Sangiuliano, Nick Curly and more. It recently celebrated it’s 200th release too, an impressive feat indeed, and is currently the number two best-selling techno label on Beatport. Tronic will also house his upcoming album which is slated for a release in October, a project which will feature collaborations with Victor Ruiz, Harry Romero, 2pole, Wehbba, Drunken Kong, and John Selway: ‘I am very pleased with the outcome of this project. Its mostly club tracks, but they all fit together nicely’. An enticing prospect.

Considering that majority of Christian’s online mixes are live recordings, we could’t be more happy to finally tease the label boss to create a special studio mix - and he shares the sentiment: ‘It’s very rare that I actually do mixes at home. I tend to use live recordings only, so this was a special one for me.’ On his Balance podcast you will get to hear some of the unreleased collaborations from the upcoming album, alongside another side to the producer: ‘I prepared a mix that’s still very much me, but also slightly more musical techno.’
