We are back in action and happy to share the snippets of our next release from Artem Lastname. Artem is no stranger to the label having previously released Priorities EP back in 2022. His fresh addition on FERMA’s catalogue, Less Chance EP brings a variety of tools for multiple dancefloor occasions. The release roster is topped up with Buzz Kill, head of Dionysian Mysteries, who delivers a faithful to his killer style remix along with berlin-based talent Parand with a unique and everchanging remix.

Continuation of the podcast series “Electro To The Masses” by Sergey Timoshov in the first independent music compilation. Including selected examples of the style, the compilation consists of 11 tracks that convey the spirit and energy of early electro, immersing the listener in sci-fi stories with a dark futuristic shade. Be careful, do not lose the connection in space and time when listening.

Each track of the compilation reflects the era of electro's ascent to the peak of popularity. Starting in the 80s, having separated from hip-hop, electro became an independent style, the sound of which formed the image of modern electronic music along with techno, house, acid and other canonical styles, while using a very ascetic set of instruments, for example, the familiar to many Roland TR-808, which became the hallmark of the style.

We are proud to present this release in our label's catalog and are especially glad to have become part of the Electro To The Masses distribution machine.

Включая в себя отборные образцы стиля, компиляция состоит из 11 треков которые передают дух и энергетику раннего электро, погружая слушателя в научно-фантастические сюжеты с мрачно футуристичным оттенком. Каждый трек компиляции отражает эпоху восхождения электро на пик популярности. Начиная с 80х годов, отделившись от хип хопа, электро стал самостоятельным стилем, звук которого, формировал образ современной электронной музыки наравне с техно, хаусом, эйсидом и другими каноничными стилями, используя при этом весьма аскетичный набор инструментов, например знакомый многим Roland TR-808, который стал визитной карточкой стиля.

Traptor is an electro project with an emphasis on dark, dirty, and emotionally charged sound. His music is a mixture of raw electro with elements of rap, hip-hop and Memphis aesthetics. It keeps you on the edge, where melody meets aggression and rhythm meets noise. Traptor already has a release on Connectome Records, a joint track with T0ke1, and his debut EP “404 Ghetto Dreams”. In his music, he explores emotional states that shock the mind and leave an aftertaste of the underground.

This EP is experimental ghetto electro cut through with a Memphis aesthetic, where compression compresses space and vocals run through deep delay sounds like a ghost from the street future. The bass rolls underneath, the synths keep you in constant tension, and the reverb adds paranoid depth. All of this is not just a collection of tracks, but a digital uprising.
