A little RE-EDIT of 'Knock Me Out' by Gary's Gang. We decided to take all the bits we like and leave out most of the corny vocals. The remainder was some great disco beats, percussion and synth motifs, we added a new thicker bassline and some arpeggio synths and thickened up the mix a little. Hope you like it. The Richmond by Synthia is made up of found sounds when we lived in Leeds and electronic production techniques. At the time we wanted to make a great dance track that held a sinister side to it. We wanted it to sound a little like a horror movie.

An older track from Synthia with use of street sounds and samples of their former residence at Richmond mount in Leeds, Originally recorded to Dictaphone the sound of a young family living opposite and noises previously collected from location based field recordings in the surrounding areas. The track was originally mixed when Synthia member matt was suffering from an acute deafness whilst DJing often around the city. The track was originally released on Revolucion records though Synthia haven't heard anything from the label since- so dont but it. Get in touch and we will send you it.
