The melody is taken from the only complete ancient Greek musical composition to survive from antiquity, the so-called "Seikilos hymn." Performed on Moog Matriarch, DFAM, SubHarmonicon, and Mavis, with Korg SQ-64 sequencer.

The text of Seikilos's song, roughly translated into English, is: "While you live, shine; don't let anything cause you too much grief; life is short, and time demands payment in the end."
