Last track of my Space Album.
You're never as comfortable as at home, on Earth. It is with this title that I wanted to end this space journey by paying a vibrant tribute to our beautiful blue planet.

Space

Planète Bleue

9th/10 track of my Space Album.
Imagine, landing on an unknown planet, the atmosphere is opaque, you can't see very far in front of you, when getting off the ship everyone stays on their guard and doesn't venture too far before learning more about the dangers of this unknown and distant world.

Distant World

7th/10 track of my Space Album. The Title is coming from Marion Zimmer Bradley's book (Hunt on the Red Moon) talking about a telepathic beeing facing a hunt with other Alien species and the sorrow of all the negative feelings she soaked up. I cannot spoil too much if you want to read it...

Chasse sur la lune rouge

First track of the album, also the first track made and that gave me the desire to do more of them, melting jazz funk riffs with Vangelis synth brass type and sweet evolving synth pads reminds me of captain futur anime flavor when I was young.

Between the stars

6th/10 track of my Space Album.
The title means 'space shelter', as space is dangerous with heavily armed pirates or rogues who can attack you. In this song you can hear the sweet singing of the space barmaids while the Union of Earth Nations spaceships are keeping watch

Refuge Stellaire

3rd/10 track of my Space Album. Every space trip deserves its beach song with a planet of water and waves with 2 setting suns and 3 red moons, where members of the space thieves are allowed to drink a smoothie of sandworms mixed with blue potatoes with a cherry flavor.

Auriga Beach

8th/10 track of my Space Album.
As you must know a quasar is something really bright, here it is a dark one because it talks about war and battle in space. The music begins with weirds chords and tension ambiance, we're in the fog of war and we don't know where the danger is. When the enemy shows, the music begins to come harsher, with more rhythm and guitar riffs, I was inspired by japanese manga animations from the early 80ies such as Ulysse 31 which has some strange musical chords part and some other rhythmic parts for the battles.

Dark Quasar

5th/10 track of my Space Album.
The title is a reference of FGTH and their "welcome to the pleasuredome" song. I wanted to do a track which combines space moods, bass guitar heady lines as FGTH did and synth and
orchestral parts to turn the song into a space opera kind. As always on this album I wanted to feel the space and stars around us, with the FX noises used for instance. 
I wanted also to merge a strong and a sweet part highlighting the acceleration of a Shooting Star...

Shooting Star

2th/10 track of my Space Album. An aphelia is when a planet is the farthest from the sun during its orbital movement.
Here I wanted to merge orchestral mood with synth Leads and ARP and FX giving the impression of a large space travel

Aphélie Sidérale

4th/10 track of my Space Album.
With this track I imagined a little space shuttle flying and spinning over a huge space station like in the starship trooper movie.
The music that inspired several tracks on this album and especialy this one came from the manga animations from the late 70ies, like captain future (capitaine Flam in French) with the great Yuji Ohno soundtrack which combine synth with Jazz Fusion and Orchestra. I was less than 10 years old when I listened to this fantastic soundtrack and when it infused my mind.

Spaceport 59

I've dived into the world of synthesizer music from the 80ies and that's what influenced me the most. I also like movie soundtracks especially the feelings between what you hear and what you see.
I also listen to and enjoy many diffrent styles of music, from jazz rock to electro lounge, progressive rock, pop rock and funk.
I have many heroes and master pieces that i love, in the field of electronic music or composition, such as Vangelis, Francis Lai's "Astrolab" album, Klaus Doldinger's "constellation" album, Ton Scherpenzeel's "Heart of the universe", Art of noise, Eric Serra, Joël Fajerman and many others.
I love creating music with synthesizers, playing with harmonics, mixing or combining sounds like a painter with différent colors, and above all assembling and composing a entire piece 
from the ridiculous idea at the beginning to the completion with the final mix and master.
I hope you'll enjoy the pieces I've created (and my imaginary world) as much as I've enjoyed putting them together.
