OP-X sounds great and I say that as an owner of an OB8...

This is, I must say, one of the most funkiest songs I've ever written! I'm very pleased with it and it was quite spur-of-the-moment. I have Aly-James Lab to thank! 

I just bought Aly's amazing new Linn LM-1 plug in (yeah, as in the funkiest drum machine ever) and was playing it by hand when I layed down a good beat. No computer aid, no quantization, just me looping and multitracking a beat I played BY HAND. Who needs a sequencer? The Linn LM-1's greatest strength was in its low-resolution 48ppq clock which gave it a human type feel..... I can do that to!

Anyway, the rest is all Sonic Projects OP-X Pro II..... how else would I get that early 80s Minneapolis funk without the sound of an Oberheim? As soon as I played that bass sound over the Linn, I was like "Shit..... that's too funky to pass up, I'd better develop this!" Lo and behold, I give to you, the FUNK!!!!

PS: I encourage anyone looking for anything Linn related to give the VLinn a try! It's currently only 15 euros..... so, about 20/23 dollars......
