'Moodphase5ive - Super Deluxe Mode' is a collection of remixes from 'Steady On' by a variety of top and up-n-coming South African producers and remix artists, supplemented by live takes from SA and European tours. The first single is 'Got To Give', featuring the all-girl rapping trio Godessa, which came about as result of a collaboration with the AIDS-awareness program 'Steps to the Future'. The track deals with taking responsibility in sexual relationships, and is coupled with an excellent video produced by Big World Cinema and directed by Eddie Edwards.

The album runs from start to finish like a customised 'mixtape' – with remixes ranging in style from hednod hiphop thru dub, funk and downtempo to broken-beat, drum 'n bass and even gangsta 2-step, spiced with freaky interludes of the band's jam sessions and live takes from tours in Africa and Europe. The album features remixes by established names Kalahari Surfers, Felix Laband, Mime, Syllabic and Anti-Hero, and showcases newcomers Bombshelter Hi-Fi, Agent Cooper, Drugless Lovestrong and more.

Marius Bjørnson is a young Norwegian producer known for his raw, dirty, powerful and unique sound. He is what some might call a “hardware junkie,” to the beautiful realization that there is a limitless dimension of sounds just waiting to be discovered. Most of his productions is within the genre of electronica and bass oriented music. The unequalled musical style has a retro soundscape in which he presents a completely new genre of his own, with almost exclusive use of old rare hardware synths, custom circuit bent drum-machines and samplers.

His career in music began in 2003 when he first set his hands on a piano at the age of 15. Almost instantly, he fell in love with the idea of creating music and began studying jazz piano, musical theory and composition in general. During these years of artistic development, his first synthesizer (Roland D-50) was obtained and his eyes were opened to the beautiful realization that his talent did not have to end at the mere sound of a piano, but that there was a completely new limitless dimension of sounds just waiting to be discovered. Since then, his collection of studio equipment has rapidly grown past the extreme.

Inspired by; The Prodigy, WC Olo Garb, Massive Attack, Røyksopp, Deadmau5, Ugress, Sigur Ros, Mew, and most of all Bjork. 
However, not to say that he falls under the same soundscape, but if you toss all of these groups into an old blender and drag them through a world of dirt and distortion, the result may resemble something close to the world of Synthomania.
