I recently stumbled upon this 17 year old dj-set on an old HD and thought I'd share it here as I thought it still sounded fresh and genuine.
Recorded live at Belgium's infamous Decadance club in Ghent on March 24th 2007, here's nearly two hours of various shades of bumpin' house music. Vinyl only - this is what I sounded like in those days, and some of these records I still hold dear and play today.

Decadence was a very special place. The club opened at 10pm Saturday night and wouldn't close until Sunday afternoon. We spent countless beautiful nights and extended mornings there, blissfully dancing together with friends and strangers.

They'd have lots of amazing international guests week after week, from the US (Derrick Carter, Lance Desardi), UK (Inland Knights) and more, but also had lots of incredible resident djs. My home town is Leuven, a 1 hour train ride from Ghent, and we would regularly make the trek. The house and techno scene in those days was strong all over Flanders: Leuven, Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp and even most smaller towns had great club nights happening. (And then I'm not even talking about our trips to Wallonia, but that's a whole different story.)

Belgian DJ / producer down under Gratts is back with his most intriguing collection of songs to date. Different shades of house music are on offer - always raw, real, and full of personality. 
‘Off My Feet’ is dedicated to Restless Soul and features Durban force Venessa Jackson on vocals. Adelaide’s Ed Temple destructs, rerubs and transforms it into a sleazy slice of hardware boogie. ‘Smiling’ chronicles hazy London days and nights some 20 odd years ago, brought to life by the illustrious JPHiLo. A track both for club and airwaves use. ‘Better Days’ is a warm and uplifting chunk of balearica, in which Rose ensures us better days are soon upon us (surely), while Belgium’s Steven De bruyn shines on harmonica. The ‘Moody Beatdown Dub’ pulls things firmly into Detroit territory. The EP concludes with title track ‘New Horizons’, an emotional piece that fuses a juicy acid line with the cascading magic of Adelaide pianist (and techno veteran) Antony Coppens.
