This time I took for the creation of a new composition the baseline test for replicants (which is based on an excerpt from Nabokov’s poem “Pale Fire”) from the film “Blade runner 2049” directed by Denis Villeneuve.
With this music, I wanted to convey a sense of tension and psychological pressure on the main character played by Ryan Gosling, but at the same time, to show his hidden and incipient emotionality, inner conflict, and experiences.
Blade Runner 2049 is a great movie with a wonderful cast that has given me a lot of inspiration. I thank all its creators for the amazing style, visual range, and an internal depth of this masterpiece.
And many thanks to Ryan Gosling and Mark Arnold for their excellent play and the voices that sound in this composition.
I also want to say some words of gratitude to the director Denis Villeneuve. Each of his works in the field of science fiction films is a tremendous event for me. His style is magnificent, and his vision is breathtaking.
