It's been a while since I've uploaded anything. This takes a real toll emotionally, among other things. I could no longer resist the urge to share the things I've made recently that are more representative of my current musical style. I also wanted to use that to help officially mark the transition between my old alias, "Syrge," and my real name, "Sam Guild," under which I'll be releasing music from here on out.

Also don't mind the awkward and rushed transitions lmao - those aren't what this is about

This track has had quite the journey since it was finished back in June, but honestly, it's been a good way to wrap up the year. There were good but also disappointing circumstances. Even then, disappointments still help a person learn and grow, always giving an opportunity to flourish.
