Once you’re there, you’ll start seeing pyramids and trying to get in. If you make it, we’ll meet on the other side. 🔺

Mixed on 1st June 2025.  I've not done many 'solo' mixes but wanted to continue my journey through deeper/progressive music.  This one is a perfect blend of most things progressive house, with the usual sprinkle of melodic undertones.

I just played until it felt like a natural end to the mix, something I haven't been able to do too often.  I hope you like the ending then....well the whole mix too, of course 😁❤️

I've not had the vinyl out for a while so thought I'd best check how rusty I was! I actually did a half decent job and so quite relieved!

This is a throwback to the 00s, where there was all sorts of house music evolving from the mainstream funky/vocal into deeper and darker tendencies. So a blend of feel good, uplifting deep/progressive house alongside some moodier and dirtier tech house & electro. Lots to enjoy on this one and I hope you do!

Throwback (vinyl) Therapy - the naughty noughties

The legendary nightclub 'Joshua Brooks' of Manchester have requested a mix that showcases what a warmup resident may play, before the main DJ of the night comes on.

I've gone with some chilled progressive and finishing with some deep tech house.  

If I was to be such a resident I would always be slightly flexing my genre to suit the main act, hence I switched over to some tech house to example where I might do this.  Obviously it depends what the headline act is going to play of course but I'm a flexible kind of guy 😎

Anyway, please show this mix a bit of love and support.  Here's hoping it gets the seal of approvel 🙏🏻🙏🏻
