Founded in 2016 by Alex La Foudre and R-O-G in the basement of the artist run space “Les Ateliers Wonder” and after releasing several K7s, Topless Records is coming back with the release of the second volume of their compilation: "Mono To Kini".
Eclectic, athletic and dark, this EP delivers a syncretic vision of alternative electronic music. Between techno, indus, electro and noise, the 7 tracks directly drawn from the numerous underground studios frequented by the crew, capture and release a singular energy.
The 300 vinyl copies come with Obi Strip style stickers and hand stamped white labels.

The EP starts with the track "Bugsy dubs" by Hustle White which tries to reconnect
with the Russian world through low tempo Volca'esque arrangements. Alex La
Foudre carries on with "Opal Light" and its ghetto tek vibe “à la française”. Sam
Reverse aka Fred from Serendip Lab finishes the A side with a hybrid track
between Atari’s melodies and FM synthesis.

Paul Jean Robert, specialist of Lo Fi Sci Fi, relaunches side B with an ultra percussive UFO gathering hip hop and electro/techno indus with a freshness that the IPCC would need.
R-O-G and its 100% analo touch invokes the depths of the oceans on a background of lacerated rhythms, watch out. Armand Bultheel, half of Agar Agar, talks about the RSA at high speed in a very psychedelic concept track. The conclusion is for the duo Piste Noire and its glitchy, catchy and amazing weird track.

PREMIERE: Hustle White - Bugsy Dubs [TOPLESS]

Simple Symmetry is a project by the Lipsky brothers. Sweating hard in garage bands, the two would dedicate nights to dance sets, breaking the boundaries of the commercial club culture with a fresh psychedelic sound, — a real commitment back in the day and a guarantee for a hard but exciting time breaking through. 

24/7 record digging, music making and dreaming evoked some serious energies and friendships, resulting in records and releases on Multi Culti (curated by Thomas Von Party ) and Dischi Autunno (by Jennifer Cardini). Simple Symmetry remixes Nicola Cruz, Adam Port, Polo&Dan and also underground acts like Balagan, Autarkic, Drugface, Gaye Su Akyol to name a few. The ride becomes wild and the tour dates epic: DC10, Life and Death at ADE and OFFSónar, Opium Club, Mexico and India tours, gigs in Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Tokyo, Tel-Aviv… Culmination of the pre-covid era for Simple Symmetry became their collaboration heavy debut LP, 'Sorry, We Did Something Wrong', where Sepultura's Igor Cavalera beats the drums, C.A.R holds the mic. 

In 2022 Simple Symmetry arrives on System 108 as residents, opening a new chapter of their fantastic journey in music with an epic track 'Czars In My Eyes' featuring Lord Fascinator. Early DJ support comes from The Blessed Madonna, Acid Arab, Erol Alkan, Jennifer Cardini, OPTIMO — in anticipation of an upcoming remix EP, scheduled for early 2023.

Lizdo akademijos absolventas iki šiol klubą įvardija kaip jo muzikinį gimdytoją ir paveldi vieną tėvišką bruožą: pagal jo skleidžiamus garsus tiesiog „neįmanoma nešokti“.
