Мы продолжаем рассказывать вам о молодых амбициозных артистах со всей России в рамках нашей инициативы Young Blood. 

Восьмая гостья рубрики — москвичка @shetookmycandies. Ксения регулярно выступает в небольших столичных барах, а помимо увлечения диджеингом занимается продюсированием, создает иллюстрации и бьет татуировки. 

В 20 лет артистка пыталась создать рок-группу, но после неудачи начала диджеить и смешивать разножанровую электронику — от витч-хауса до техно. Именно таким и получился микс для нашего сообщества: он начинается с мелодичного даркового саунда, разгоняется до трансовых мелодий и заканчивается прыгучей прямой бочкой.

Ancient Methods was born from the union of Conrad Protzmann and Michael Wollenhaupt, two Germans dedicated to produce techno without any kind of complexes who also sign their solo works as Baeks and Trias. Eventually, and after the departure of Wollenhaupt, Protzmann decides to stay with the solo project.

His career, based on the release of several EPs, most of them on his own label of the same name, begins to atomize with collaborations on other publishing platforms such as Sonic Groove, RSB, Fondation Sonore, aufnahme + wiedergabe or Hands Productions.

The track “Gen‑Z Anthem” blends driving deep‑house grooves with a dark, blues‑infused vibe and clean electronic production. Pulsing kick drums, warm 808 bass lines, and a minimal, mantra‑like vocal hook (“Heat”) create a hypnotic club atmosphere, while subtle guitar and blues elements add an organic, slightly melancholic touch. Overall, the song feels like a nocturnal city ride: modern, stripped‑back yet emotionally charged – ideal for late‑night sets, rooftop sessions, or focused work with a steady underlying tension.

Gen-Z Anthem

Yomi One resurfaces on Sweden's When Disco Goes Wrong, with “Snaketon Acid Trax 3,” a four-track statement of raw, machine-driven soul. Built from the warm wiring of Acid House and the crooked bounce of Electro, everything is filtered through a DIY ethos that values feeling over fidelity. The label's underground spirit is palpable here – hand-drawn art and a rebellious pulse frame a record made for darkened rooms where the air is thick, and the rhythm is a physical presence. It’s less a collection of songs and more a charged fragment of night, where 303s breathe, and drums stutter with purposeful, human imperfection.

Premieres here, “Warp Time” fractures the grid entirely, plunging into a vortex of polymetric chaos and shadowy computation. Time signatures splinter as acid lines twist through corridors of textured, temporal dissonance. Here, structure is dismantled into its raw, unstable components – a deliberate rupture in the night’s flow where percussion cracks open and melody contorts. This is the EP’s moment of exposed circuitry, a bold swerve into the experimental void that reveals the daring, rhythmic science beating at the label’s core. A final bend in the signal before the tape runs out.
