Hybrid Moment x Gobriy

We’re launching a new series of releases in collaboration with Yulia Gobriy.

Yulia is a talented 2D artist and Art Director in the animation industry, who occasionally creates independent art projects on the side.

Here’s how Yulia describes her dive into darker tones:
"I'm not quite sure how to work with dark art, even though I feel drawn to bringing it into my practice right now. Maybe that's why I added a match: first — let it burn, and second — I still want to play with color, preferably in a nice pair of shoes. And fire is exactly what brings color into the dark."

The first mix of this collaboration comes from Kyiv-based DJ Gothivka. It's infused with a slightly nostalgic electronic sound, inspired by gothic aesthetics and post-punk.

Сегодня у нас в гостях Makabr с Дальнего Востока — диджей, мультимедиа-художник и продюсер клубной электронной музыки. Будучи подростком артист открыл для себя FL Studio, Ableton и Touchdesigner, а сегодня выпускается на российских и иностранных лейблах.

Makabr является идеологом промогруппы Hermosa и отметился с сетами в клубах Санкт-Петербурга, Хабаровска, Москвы и Владивостока. Его микс для нашего сообщества — путешествие по грувовым волнам техно и танцевальной электроники.

Barcelona based, with Russian roots, Sestrica is well talented girl, with some great releases and live acts behind. Now, she releasing bandcamp exclusive, 2 track EP 'not again' dedicated to the people with mental health problems.

'Ten years ago, I experienced my first psychotic episode.
The medication I was prescribed said “for the treatment of schizophrenia,” and I was terrified.
It turned out to be just an episode, or so I thought.
In 2022, the psychosis returned.
I ended up in a psychiatric hospital and was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.
I've been sober for three years now, taking my meds and doing everything I can to stay well.
But recently, I experienced what doctors call a “psychotic echo,” like a mini-breakdown, only worse because you’re fully aware.
This EP is about those moments, the feeling that no matter how hard you try, the illness can still find you.

But…we keep living, learning, and enjoying life. As much as we can.'
