We met @l-eese at Listen Festival in Brussels. We were already playing her tunes on @yukumusic for some time, but it was her Live show that really throw us off our seats. We went to giver props after the show and our vibes just clicked. “—Hey, we saw your gig, and it was amazing! We danced our legs of!”, we said. “—Yeah! I saw you!”, she said with a smile. That’s all it takes.

Leese is a Brussels-based producer and DJ who’s been getting buzz for her sound - rooted in Bass Music and pulling percussive influences from breakbeat and tribal.

“Aasma” draws from Drum & Bass, fast Electro and Deconstructed Club. 3 intense tracks of fast broken beats with vocal samples and sprinkles of melody “Aziza” starts with a jackhammer-like rhythm over a half- step beat, before a wailing siren and sprinkles of Baile Funk vocals take over. “Sarma” has a more subdued and hypnotic feel that builds into a rush of trance-y synths. On “Astrakka”, Leese collaborates with @ravlsncld to produce a 145 BPM banger, with heavy rolling kicks and metallic percussion.

“This EP feels a little special. Slowly but surely, I’m finding my way back to more melodic, more “musical” vibes, and that’s the spirit that shaped this project. It also marks my second collaboration with my friend RAVL—a creative connection that keeps evolving and surprising me.”

Originally released in 1994. L.S.G.’s ‘Blueprint EP’, containing “Hearts” and “Blueprint” remains an undisputed reference for a whole musical genre. It was one of the most successful releases at the time and indeed a blueprint for things to come. The man behind L.S.G. and other projects is Oliver Lieb, one of the most talented producers of electronic music. The two tracks perfectly showcase L.S.G.’s eerie sound creations in a perfect production and all his science works at its finest in this EP. “Hearts” is a heart-breaking tune with a distorted line and a melancholic harp evolving. “Blueprint” adds even more depth, tension and mystery before launching its amazingly gated synths and this famous little melody. It's unbelievable how perfect the sounds are, both on the musicality/harmony and mixing/mastering. The Blueprint EP has been remastered by Oliver Lieb in 2025.

Leipzig based artist Varum made himself a name with reckless 313 edits of german gangster rap, but for LAP he shows himself from another perspective: 
a well crafted dreamy electro journey.

LAP records is a laboratory where unconditional music lovers can express their »NonTrend« time machine of sounds, which phases through clubs, bedroom studios and floors. Delivering the unexpected.

With a quite talented and radiant culture of residents at [PAL], we finally have an imprint to release some steam and thoughts. Also producers and friends of the international circuit will have their influence.
