Hungarian multitalented one-man sound system MODUL a.k.a. MANGO prepared this two-hour-long ascent dub set for his lace up inna Ozorian Chill Out stage this Summer.
Tune in on 28th May 2014 Wednesday 8pm CET on the Chill channel. 

He has been an active electronic musician since 1995. In 1996 was a founder member of the Minimal Headz group at Radio Tilos, where he spinned detroit techno and underground house in his weekly show called Eat da Beat. Later he started his own radio program the Totoya Club, playing downtempo and underground hip hop, and organized the first on air freestyle competitions in Hungary. He had two more own shows at Tilos Radio, the Törzsvendég playing mainly Jazz and a live act show called Városi Kosz. He made a radio program 60 Hz Drum and bass for Est Fm.
Since 1997he's been playing with Jazz (Budbudas, Skeg, Skoda) and worldmusic (Anima Sound System, Behsodrom) bands as turntablist.

He started producing his own tunes in 1998, first for Subscope Records (Protokol Droidz Kru) and for compliations (Budapest 2000, Future sound of budapest Vol 2) In 1998 He started weekly jam sessions with open mic where he met the future members of his band, the GIMMESHOT CREW. For the next ten years this band had a major influence on Hungarian hip-hop & dancehall live movement, combining live acts, turntables, MCs and classic instruments.

In 2003 he released the debut LP of singer of GIMMESHOT (Sena – First One), being the first release of Gimmishot Records, and toured with live band Dzihan & Kamien as turntablist. Also in 2002 He finished third and in the following year second best of the Hungarian DMC championship.

In 2007 he started for the Hungarian MTV the weekly live show SWUNG, and in 2008 he did his own series for them called BE MY DJ, presenting the different styles and technics of electronic music along with the biggest names of Hungarian underground.

Besides all that, he's been playing percussion instruments in the live jazz-lounge group with a pianist and a double bass player. He also beats the drums in a punk band.

For Spring/Summer 18, Carhartt WIP has created an offcial NEU! Capsule collection, blending the band′s iconic aesthetic with a host of our classic garments. NEU!, taking its name and branding from the culture of advertising agencies of its hometown of Düsseldorf, Germany, was a revolutionary force — both visually and sonically. Creating a brand of experimental rock that would ultimately inform genres such as punk, post-punk and Detroit techno, the band′s influence can still be felt today. NEU! was formed by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother, shortly after their split from Kraftwerk. Together with producer and non-member Conny Plank, who shared the duo′s enthusiasm for experimentation and sonic innovation, they would create three unique NEU! Albums. Though the band did not enjoy mainstream commercial success, their work had a profound impact on artists like David Bowie, Brian Eno and Sonic Youth. Dinger is widely recognized as one of the most important drummers of the 20th century. Rother, meanwhile, remains prolific, releasing music, creating film scores and playing live all over the world, thrilling diverse audiences and inspiring musicians from Japan to Mexico. To accent our NEU! collection, we asked Mute Records′ founder Daniel Miller to select his favourite NEU! songs and prepare a Carhartt WIP Radio show.

In Hour 2 we hand over to Rejoicer who released his debut album on Stones Throw, 'Energy Dreams' on 31st August. Rejoicer, a.k.a. Yuvi Havkin, is a musician and producer who splices together funk, hip-hop, breakbeats and jazz rhythms. He's is well-known for helping cultivate Israel’s modern beat movement, and for fostering a community of international artists who contribute to his Tel-Aviv based label, Raw Tapes. He had this to say about his mix;

SYSTEM 7's previous release - the Passion EP - really hits the spot, showing that in 2013 they remain on top of their game with their unique blend of trance and techno.

The most recent full System 7 album UP (released May 2011) tips the balance a bit in a more techno and tech house direction, still showcasing the unique System 7 sound with ultra modern production and a feeling of positivity. The album was inspired by time spent in Berlin. The club single, taken from UP, is PositiveNoise, a collaboration with Berlin-based A Guy Called Gerald, and features a new deep techno remix from Carl Craig and a powerful remix from Japanese techno star A.Mochi. PositiveNoise also has great new Japanese animation video clip

SYSTEM 7’s Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy have had a strong influence on the birth of psychedelic dance music and it’s journey up to the present, forging a unique and bang up-to-date identity on the genre map, in a space where techno, progressive and trance meet – with a healthy side-element of unique quality ambient chill which is connected and reflected in their sister project Mirror System. 

Since the beginning of the 90s System 7 projects have been marked by a series of high powered collaborations, working with Detroit luminaries Derrick May and Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, The Orb, Jam El Mar, Son Kite among others. System 7’s club singles have had outstanding remixes from the likes of Plastikman, James Holden and Dubfire, whose mix of Space Bird was number one on Beatport’s main chart for 2 weeks in 2008.
