AVNU returns to the Ellum collective, dropping a new single in advance of his second full-length album ‘Crisis In the Simulation’ due on the Ellum this Spring. ‘Next Caller’ comes backed with a remix from another Ellum stalwart, Raxon.

Based in Scotland, DJ & producer AVNU has been deeply immersed in music for over two decades, taking inspiration from the warm tones of blues to the hard cuts from the rave and all points in between. Latest collaborations with Maceo Plex on his new album ‘93’ (‘Clickbait’, ‘Serpent Jazz’ and ‘Go Back’ feat. Desire) and remixes of Tyler Hill and Madben have solidified his association with the Ellum and Lone Romantic labels.

On his new single ‘Next Caller’, the talented producer whips up a progressive and chunky club track laced with dark energy. Raxon’s accompanying remix provides a nuanced slant on the original, kitted out with chunky drums and catchy loops to compliment the thick bassline rhythms of the original.

Radio Slave’s 2008 ‘Grindhouse’ feat. Danton Eeprom has a new mix from Italy’s Vaert and shifts from its original home on Rekids to Techno-orientated oﬀshoot RSPX in late February. Having previously been remixed by Danton Eeprom, Len Faki, Nic Fanciuli, Obscure Shape & SHDW, Slam, and notably Dubfire, who provided an iconic interpretation, the 2025 release emerges with a distinctly Melodic Techno lean.

Seventeen years on from its original drop, Afterlife and HABITAT artist Vaert’s remix of Radio Slave’s ‘Grindhouse’ feat. Danton Eeprom supersizes each element and roughens the beat by crunching its bassline with heavy distortion. Reminiscent of Dubfire’s hugely influential ‘Terror Planet’ mix of ‘Grindhouse’, Vaert briefly oﬀsets the track’s rampaging bass with lush pads before the original’s mind-altering synths blow the roof oﬀ, Eeprom’s vocal sample oﬀering something to hold onto throughout this dancefloor-primed cut.

DJ Tennis and Red Axes join forces again as Redrago, delivering a hypnotic, floor-filling cut that blurs again the boundaries of their genre-defying sounds, auto-defined as “ falafel disco mixed with a 1/4 of spaghetti sauce.”
The trio met at a festival in Corsica, introduced by Pachanga Boys. "Their faces, their expressions, and their attitude—gentle, smart, loving, and funny—impressed me at first sight," Tennis recalls. That initial meeting was many years ago, but their personal and musical bond has only grown stronger when they decided to merge their shared passion for psychedelic sounds and Mediterranean influences, leading to numerous recording sessions together. 
Out on February 28, this release showcases the creative chemistry between DJ Tennis and the Israeli duo, melding their signature styles into a psychedelic journey that’s destined to light up dance floors everywhere. Rekids welcomes back Tal Fussman with the I Feel EP, following up his 2024 Definition EP on Radio Slave’s label, which won support from the likes of Honey Dijon, Orlando Voorn, Yu Su, Saoirse, Dave Clarke, and more.

The Innvervisions, COD3QR artist and Survival Tactics label boss starts I Feel with the title track and, in true Fussman fashion, infuses drummy club cuts with plenty of feeling via soulful synths and apt vocal sampling.

The rolling organic percussion of MAD continues, locking us in the groove while hard-hitting stabs fly above before Bongo Man channels the lush sounds of the rainforest alongside more expert drum work.

Closing out the I Feel EP, Tal Fussman works with fellow producer 8-AN to drop the dream-like strings of Life Itself, another deep track that is as club-ready as it is introspective.

Zurich-born, New York-based DJ Tony y Not is best known for her free-spirited sets, seamlessly weaving together techy acid, progressive, dark disco, and heart-opening indie. She brings that signature energy to her Kompakt debut with striking precision. Have You Lost Your Mind channels a touch of Swan Lake-era Todd Terry – one of NYC house’s legendary figures – delivering a razor-sharp acid line, a rock-solid groove, and one of the most flawlessly executed breakdown/drop combos in recent memory.
