Danky was born and raised in California surrounded by a family full of musicians. In her early years, piano, trumpet, and guitar occupied most of Danky's time before she discovered the magic of combining electronic and acoustic instruments together in the studio. Danky's initial forays into music production found her exploring the nuances of HipHop, Juke, and Future Beats; but it was only when she began to try her hand at Jungle and Drum & Bass that her passion for the craft truly began to blossom.

Now, 7 years later, Danky has carved a place for herself within the thriving underground scene of electronic dance music where she can flex her own her eclectic and undeniable groovy style of DnB that takes slivers and echoes from every other genre of music that has moved her to this point. 

This mix includes some of my favorite new drum and bass tunes and a handful of unreleased tracks from me. Enjoy!

New release of Optifiber feat. Frosper did not take long! This wonderful duet of Moscow and St. Petersburg has already managed to please all lovers of high-quality drum'n’bass music with a large full-length release "Disguised", which gave us full of the joys of spring. However, they have not stopped on reached. Guys have released the next serious work, a new EP called "We Are Still Here." As always, incredibly painstaking work has been done on the structural and harmonic components. Without a doubt, we can say that the unique style has been formed, which they are honing and improving every day, hoping to reach the most hidden depths of your soul!

Mt Eden - Sierra Leone (Horge Remix)

A couple years back I was telling my friends in the Bloody Knives (ATX) that I would love to remix one of their songs someday. Not too long after that they came up and played a show at Three Links in Deep Ellum (DTX) and the second this song started I fell in love with it. New Machines has a very fast paced 180 bpm tempo with great sampled loops and drum breaks, cool keys sounds and guitar layers with smooth vocals. I knew this was the one. So in typical producer fashion I worked on it in a session and didn't revisit till like a year later. Long story long It's finished it and I want to thank the Bloody Knives for giving me the awesome opportunity to put the System touch on one of my favorite songs of theirs. System aka Mr.Black, is a DJ and producer based out of Dallas, TX. He held a residency at the legendary DJ night "Battletech Tuesday's" for 15 years! Over the course of his career he has had the opportunity to be support for some of the worlds most legendary international acts including Goldie, Roni Size, and DJ Hype, just to name a few. 

Having nearly as many years of production skills under his belt as DJ'ing, he is really starting to fine tune his sound and take it to next level with his music. Look out for loads of cool things coming from this guy in the near future!
