Grinding Dub

System D is a shorthand term that refers to a manner of responding to challenges that requires one to have the ability to think fast, to adapt, and to improvise when getting a job done. The letter D refers back to either of the French verbs "se débrouiller" and "se démerder" mean "to make do", "to manage", especially in an adverse situation.

Since forming in 2008, originally from Morocco; System D Earned a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the Moroccan Dub / Reggae scene.
In 2014 System D moved to Germany, combining Production, creation, events and sound system. They are spreading the conscious message in the music far and wide, whilst gaining a reputation as one of the key players in the new wave of German DUB.

Roots and Dub music, System D a crossing borders musical expersience, challanging the opression, political situation, borders control. Reggae is not dead.
