Found Wandering

From half a world away in the Pacific Northwest, Audiophysical (Andre Lamb) reached out to Wallace in the South Pacific about a spaced out Wurlitzer driven Neo Soul odyssey he had been brewing up. The decision to collaborate was a quick one and was fueled with NZONAIR support. 

Wallace Gollan’s jazzy tone and vocal flair, lend themselves perfectly to the lush bed of strings, keys and warm bass lines in this catchy tune. Lamb has long crafted deep instrumentals set to boom-bap influenced Neo Soul beats and breaks. The pairing yields a cinematic journey of downtempo Dreamtime and this is just a taste of what is to come from Audiophysical.
Produced by Lamb and mastered at Kog, this track has a crisp sweet quality to it and would fit on most chill or light night playlists. So sit back, relax and enjoy this latest offering.

Δύο Αξιόλογα και αγαπημένα τραγούδια, " Όλα δικά σου μάτια μου" και "Η νύχτα απόψε με τυλίγει", που οι AndyFellaz αναδιασκεύσαν δίνοντας τους την δική τους άποψη μέσω της ηλεκτρονικής downtempo (Trip Hop) μουσικής. Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ για την μουσική κληρονομιά που ο καθένας από αυτους τους συνθέτες και ερμηνευτές μας έχουν δόσει εδώ και χρόνια. This single from Andyfellaz "Laughing" based on the tracks of 2 well known Greek composers (Mimis Plessas and Kostas Kapnisis) plus 2 singers (Yiannis Poulopoulos and Jenny Vanu). Two songs Andyfellaz reimagined and edited, creating an electronic downtempo / Trip Hop music. We would like to thank those Greek composers and singers for they have left a musical heritage that cannot be forgotten. We would also like to thank Mimis Plessas for happily allowing us to remix one of his composes.

Part 2 of the Monomyth trilogy will take you on a road of trials. This is a favorite phase of the myth- adventure. 

Frenic has created a concept album in the Trip Hop tradition taking influence from a wide selection of source material that includes Hip Hop, Dub, Soul, Funk and Folk. This has all been crafted together using deep beats, scratches, huge dark reverbs and saturated lo fi sounds. 

Based on the book “A Hero with a Thousand Faces”. By Joseph Campbell the trilogy seeks to engage with the concept that all stories have one common theme and by understanding this your own hero's journey can be enlightened. 

“Whether we listen with aloof amusement to the dreamlike mumbo jumbo of some red-eyed witch doctor of the Congo, or read with cultivated rapture thin translations from the sonnets of the mystic Lao-tse; now and again crack the hard nutshell of an argument of Aquinas, or catch suddenly the shining meaning of a bizarre Eskimo fairy tale: it will be always the one, shape-shifting yet marvelously constant story that we find, together with a challengingly persistent suggestion of more remaining to be experienced than will ever be known or told.”(Joseph Campbell)
