"Into The Mist EP" by LKY is a captivating collection of techno tracks combining driving beats, ethereal melodies, and hypnotic rhythms to create a truly immersive listening experience.

The EP opens with "Umbra", a brooding and atmospheric track that sets the tone for the rest of the album with its haunting melodies and intricate sound design. 

"Murk" follows, building on the intensity of the opening track with its pulsing bassline and hypnotic rhythms.

“I first encountered Toru upon exiting a Tokyo DJ booth one evening. He was waiting patiently to pass me a CD of his work along with a polite, handwritten note. The tracks had a uniqueness and an appealing futuristic feel, and thus a few of them became regular fixtures in my DJ sets” – Ø [Phase]

Not unlike Ø [Phase]’s own beginnings, and following in the footsteps of the great artists before him, Katsuta’s humble approach caught the attention of mainstay techno fixtures. In 2021, he released a remix on Matrixxman’s The Grid label for fellow up- and-coming artist Alarico.
