Hey guys.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to this mix.

This is a recording of a live stream i did on Mixify yesterday.
It was an event hosted by Raggydoll, who set it up for me. I just turned up and did the mix for her.

It's a full on retro 80s feel, with loads of tracks i remember from growing up in the 80s, i'm sure you'll remember lots of these too if you were around then.

For me i wouldn't of even got back into mixing/DJ'ing if it wasn't for alot of the people that re-edited these tracks your listening to here. I gave DJ'ing up years ago. I had grown very bored with house, trance, prog and funky, i'd played those styles of music for too long. 

By chance a while ago however i came onto soundcloud randomly and started looking for some old stuff 80s tracks. I was lucky enough to land on a mix produced by a guy called "80s Child" who i now know as Danny.

When i listened to his mix, it literally blew me away, i had no idea people were taking old 80s tracks and editing them, and making them club-ready, to be mixed properly etc.

Since then, ive found other people that do exactly the same, and got to know some of them, people such as Wonkar (thanks for the Ableton help m8), The Reflex, Rayko, Dr Packer, Shit Hot SoundSystem and the Groove Motion guys. All top class people with serious skills for this sort of stuff. 

They're all here on soundcloud if you've not heard their stuff, i recommend you go check them ALL out :)

So, thanks for taking the time to read this, press the play button and enjoy the trip down memory lane.

A an old edit I did a few years back.
My thought was to just do an edit of the vocal version of the full "Suite", but after some deliberation I felt it best to leave the majority of the full track intact...with the addition of an Intro, a Outro/Break/Intro for Part 1 into Part 2 and an Outro for the Vocal version. Tempo Corrected the track and gave it a minimal rhythm track enhancement including a deeper Kick.
At almost 11 minutes its a big track, but it's pretty evenly divided for those not wanting to play the entire thing.
