The tracks are born from the concept of being sonically coerced into movement, distilled down to the essential elements of rhythm; bass, vocals and drums. Having studied the phenomenon of rhythm based primarily on the writings of Tiger C. Roholt, Chungo explores the idea of groove as the puppeteer and the listener the puppet (Pupazzo in Italian). With the elements perfectly balanced, they lock into the internal metronome of the listener, turning motion into a necessity.

These rhythmic concepts coupled with Chungo's signature sugar-sweet production stylings make for an EP of pure UKG bliss that cuts through the noise and demands dance-floor particip

'Tearing Now', or 'Tearing Up' at the masterful combination of Grime & Electro displayed here on the title track? Infectious bass-arpeggios sit above thumping subs, while a classy arrangement which works its way through a classic MC rant to an unexpected culmination in an almost Bingerian string outro satisfies both the casual listener and the RWD Forum nerd.

On 'Airplane', Hiss cunningly uses sounds and samples that sound a bit like aeroplanes. We could end the blurb here, such is level of the genius on display, but then we wouldn't mention the almost Gqom-esque tension built through the insistent bass power, or the way pulling the first clap forward hints at Garage, without flying too far from the Electro runway operating from Grime airport. I'll stop now.

Traces are a London based production duo, usually specialising in dark and technically brilliant 140 tunes with releases on labels such as Rarefield and Albion Collective.

Tailor Jae is a producer and DJ from London;At the moment known mostly for her DJing skills her productions are also absolutely not to be slept on and with serious tunes set to release in 2020, Tailor Jae is set to have a huge year.

The two production forces have combined on 'Thief' to create a dark broken club tune which is a weapon in any DJ set.
