She sits in the corner, shrouded in doubt,
Her voice is too quiet, her way about.
"What’s the weight of betrayal?" she whispers low,
The Machine responds, its voice steady and slow.

"More than stars in the cosmos, yet lighter than air, 
A betrayal weighs heavy on those who care. 
It slips through the cracks, unseen, never leaves
Its weight is the burden that a human heart perceives."

Ask Machine a question, what will you find?
Are answers the comfort, or a trick for the mind?
A Machine that knows all, and always stays the same,
When answers lay down,  who is to frame?

Her gaze flickers, a spark in the gloom, 
Her heart wrestles answers that hang in the room. 
"Can you measure the distance from dreams that have died?" 
The Machine hums softly, then gently replied,

"As vast as the ocean, as fleeting as sand, 
The distance is measured in steps you can’t plan. 
For dreams that are gone leave a space vast and wide, 
A void where our deepest desires reside."

Is there peace in knowing, or just more to seek?
Some answers can strengthen, sometimes they make weak
In the end, it's the quest, the journey’s the key,
In the vast sea of questions, we find what to be.
