 a.k.a. T.H.E. I.T.s are:

Poet Adrian Bocanegra Combs of Bocanegraz, Guitarist, Bassist, Composer John T. Wood of Mr. Frosty and The MFs, and Guitarist Evan Lewis

The project started in early 2013 as the collaborative endeavor by guitarist/bassist/arranger/producer John T. Wood of Mr. Frosty And The MFs and poet/vocalist Adrian Bocanegra Combs of Bocanegraz. The two met while taking a sustainable building class at Cabrillo College in Apto's CA. They soon struck up a friendship centered around their mutual interest in music and improvisation.  Evan Lewis joined us in our endeavor in 2016 and is a most welcome addition to our cause.  From The Board is our first collaborative effort with Evan and special guest drummer Rob Bennett.

The primary goal of the project is to put music to the trove of words Adrian produces in a quirky and spontaneous manner that verges on musically accessible pop and rock themes while still retaining elements of spoken word performance - and, the free flow of subversive symbolic elements in the listeners consciousness as they struggle to assimilate the unexpected juxtaposition of linguistic and literary references. The bands demo CD project "Pretty Damn Crazy" is the first attempt at this.
