Influenced by ambient electronics and chromaticism, Guillam (@guillam) pursues depth through the exploration of sound and composition. Soothing soundscapes, unfolding rhythms and organic textures are elements present in his music and dj sets. He is one of the curators on board along with Refracted (@refracted-music) in Paral·lel festival (@parallelfestival).  This is a live recording DJset during the Midline night curated by ABSIS (@absismusic) in Laut (@laut_barcelona) on February 9th.

The Tlatelolco Market was not just a crucible of exchange, but an ancestral rhythm encoded in stone and chaos. Its plazas echoed with the 139 BPM of pre-Hispanic life: cries of barter, war drums transformed into dialogue, prayers to gods who traded with corn and jade. It was a fractal of humanity, where the sacred and the mundane collided like frequencies in an oscilloscope shattered by time.

Today, its ruins are memory synthesizers. Isn't every market a portal? Where gold was exchanged for mirrors, today algorithms trade with attention. The same frenetic energy, the same collective trance: offerings turned into NFTs, shamans into influencers, drums into subatomic kicks.

Tlatelolco reminds us that barter never died... it only mutated. Are we the new teomama (bearers of the divine), carrying on playlists what was once carried in canoes? The market will always be a ritual: a binary code disguised as a human pulse.

Sam Watson Live At Freerotation 2015

Born in Spain, Juan Rico is a DJ who has rapidly attained the recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. He marks his birth as a DJ about 1997, but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally.  He has shown his quality skills recording for emerging imprints like Pole Recordings, Wolfskuil Records, and his very own Architectural label. 

The set, nearly two hours long was recorded at Bassiani as part of the Wolfskuil Records Night. It's a well-executed mix that focuses especially on the dark, ambient textures, crosscut with hints of hypnotic Dub techno. 
Displaying his impeccable taste in music, Architectural crosses varied musical fields, offers deep and adventurous mix contrasted with dancefloor edge.
