BRUTALISM presents // LAU.TASTIC 005

Laura, AKA Lau.tastic, is originally from Madrid but has been living in the UK for the last 9 years. She has always been drawn toward the techno scene, particularly when growing up in Madrid, living in London and visiting Berlin.

Inspired by the likes of Rebekah, Paula Temple, SNTS and Dave The Drummer, her own sets reflect that love for dark, hard and industrial techno. Laura has played at raves for London-based Northern Impact and collaborates with Manic FM Radio, Hidden Senses and La Divina records. 

Looking to the future, the 32 year-old is excited to be back playing again in and around London, as well as planning gigs in Bulgaria and Columbia. She has also started producing her own music, which we look forward to hearing!

A rising star of the hard techno fraternity, Luciid is fast becoming one of the hottest names in the scene. Quietly honing his skills in a quiet corner of Ireland, Luciid has exploded recently with releases on Eclipse and Dense & Pika’s ground-breaking Kneaded Pains including his remix of Dubfire’s ‘Soundbath’ picking up plays from Chris Liebling to Charlotte de Witte. 

Luciid’s future-facing, energetically raw sound is what 2023 will sound like! ‘Chainsaw’ is a perfect example of his sound. Tough drums and a cacophony of hats create a wild, unhinged energy before angry, spiky sonics tease a melodic softening. Peak-time warehouse techno at it’s most uncompromising.
