T.R.A.C. steps forward to take centre stage with this first single from his forthcoming album 'Life In Motion'. Having appeared on numerous D&B tracks over the past few years on labels like V Recordings, Shogun, Jazzsticks and more as a featured artist T.R.A.C. is no stranger to the studio, and his lyrical finesse shines through on this funk filled roller. Linking up with the heavenly Adrienne Richards on vocals, and US liquid legend Random Movement on production 'Step Tune' delivers on all fronts, and sets the bar high for the album to follow later this year.

Anyone who has ever visited the borough of Brooklyn will have seen its wide mix of cultures, ethnicities, and renowned musicians living within some of the most historic neighbourhoods in the world. Growing up within this melting pot has inspired the MC known as T.R.A.C. - his name alone clearly states what his intent is all about... To Rule And Conquer.

So what's this New York based Hip Hop MC doing on V? Well, as well as his first love of Hip Hop, T.R.A.C. is a long-time lover of breakbeats at 174bpm - perhaps taking his inspiration from Marc Mac, legend of 4 Hero and Reinforced fame who produced his debut album on BBE Records.

Over the past 10 years T.R.A.C. has built up a loyal following performing at D&B events all over the North America, Canada and Europe, and it was on one such occasion that he caught the attention of V Recordings head honcho Bryan Gee. Instantly recognising his lyrical skills and the opportunity to unite that East Coast Hip Hop style with its distant cousin from across the pond, Drum & Bass. As a Drum and Bass MC, he's rocked stages with an ever growing list of A-class DJs such as LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie (to name a few); and, is recognized internationally throughout his career in the genre as a premiere stateside born MC, with the roots of a talented Hip Hop artist.

Featured on a plethora of projects for UK's Lewis Parker and Visioneer extraordinaire Marc Mac, T.R.A.C. released his BBE debut Hip Hop effort, 'The Network', in 2011 and received underground critical acclaim. He recently garnered further attention via a number of well-received releases on respected labels including tunes like 'The Partys Arrived', 'Bossin' Ova' (Dave Owen), and the now classic 'Higher Ground' (Submorphics).

Perseverance is an often use word to describe a person overcoming their struggles. A battle conquered a day. In today’s music world - while all the glitz and glamour can be rewarding for some dedicated striving artists, too many don’t maintain longevity and are quickly forgotten. Brooklyn’s own NYC underground artist, T.R.A.C., has climbed to new heights throughout his years of experience in both Hip Hop and Drum and Bass. A masterful wordsmith, his talents are proven in his work with legendary producers such as Marc Mac (4hero) and Lewis Parker(UK). As an MC, he’s rocked stages with names like LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie  to name a few from the lengthy (and growing) list of A class DJs. Recognized internationally throughout his career in the Drum and Bass scene as a premiere stateside born MC with the roots of a talented Hip Hop artist.
Featured on a slew of Lewis Parker projects, T.R.A.C. released his BBE debut Hip Hop effort, “The Network”, in 2011. The album was produced by legendary 4hero artist Marc Mac, and received underground critical acclaim, along with 6 star rating from OE magazine. T.R.A.C.’s sound is described as bluesy, soulful, easy listening, yet still Hip Hop.
Already respected in the world of Drum and Bass, T.R.A.C. has recently garnered even more attention via a plethora of well-received releases with respected labels. His work with Shogun LTD. Jazzsticks (Paul SG), Intrigue Music (Ben Soundscape), and V recordings are notable within the genre. Tunes like “The Partys Arrived” (Dave Owens), and the now classic “Higher Ground”(Submorphics), have elevated the artist to a higher platform and created much anticipation for his debut DnB album with V boss Bryan Gee. After recent release of “the V singles” compilation, an energetic buzz is rising and T.R.A.C.’s time has come to shine. 2017 is shaping up to be an amazing run for this talent.
