This song is dedicated to my friend, my Brother in arms,      
      Dave Kuhn, February 4, 1977 ~ July 24, 2019.                
 When I was around 14 or so, I met Dave and his younger Brother, Andy, at park n' rec basketball. We didn't win a single game. From this interaction, little did I know my life would never be the same. One day we made plans for him to come over my house and play music. I had the entire garage set up ready to jam and I remember Dave being so hyper we didn't even play, he forced me to listen to a few bands I had never heard of; the only one I remember is the Cure album; "Staring at the Sea" and he kept playing the song, Killing An Arab. I couldn't get him to focus long enough to even answer the question; "Can we play now?" And that was the first time we got together to play music. Looking back decades later, I understand that his mind was racing on to the next thing, whatever that thing was. He was always aware of bands that were doing something new and something unique or bands that took on old styles but added new elements and coming of age in the 90's was the best thing that could happen for an experimental mind like Dave's. I have so much I'd like to say about my friend but words fail. So, I dedicate this song to him, I wrote this song back in 1997 and revised it a bit, it has a strong influence from The Cure (As does most of my playing) which I owe to Dave Kuhn. I miss you so much man. We'll never forget you son.
