Inexcusable Épisode 4

Richard Cousin, dit Yumyum, peint et met en musique la destruction et le chaos du monde. Il reporte sur la toile des photomontages projetés, tout en touches incisives et contrastes violents. Les sujets deviennent indiscernables, qu’il s’agisse de la quiétude d’une plage bretonne ou d’un décor cataclysmique. Par le traitement radical de sa peinture et des sujets qu’il choisit, il crée une tension et nous interroge sur la réalité angoissante de l’érosion du monde.
Sa musique est un relai à son œuvre picturale. Elle explore un univers sombre par des sonorités à la fois agressives et profondes et par des voix métamorphosées, terrifiantes.

Richard Cousin, whose musical stage name is Yumyum, paints and sets to music the destruction and chaos of the world. He transfers projected photomontages onto canvas, using incisive strokes and stark contrasts. The subjects become indistinguishable, whether it be the tranquility of a Breton beach or a cataclysmic scene. Through the radical treatment of his painting and his chosen subjects, he creates tension and questions us about the agonizing reality of the world's erosion.

His music serves as a complement to his pictorial work. It explores a dark universe through sounds that are both aggressive and profound, and through metamorphosed, terrifying voices.

He is exhibiting his paintings here: Exhibition: "We Are Not Separated" at Galerie 3.1 of the Haute-Garonne Department

Dans cet épisode orienté electro tranquille, Inexcusable étoffe son équipe avec Iwan, un jeune prodige rennais ! Vous entendrez de lui des morceaux raffraîchissants de synthwave, ambiant et deephouse.
Romain Ricaud révèle des morceaux tropicaux de son prochain album de Dub arrangé, Pantheres Medley partage aussi du dub d’ascenseur vue sur mer (entre autres surprises) et Human Koala tente de dompter des petits animaux qui sortent de ses grooveboxes.
Tout va donc bien, en tout cas pendant 25 minutes environ.

Autrement connu sur les ondes des mixtapes d’Inexcusable comme « CatsAndPanthers », Ledymer a entrepris de revivre ses propres compositions des années 90, dont il a perdu toute source de travail, excepté des exports fossilisés sur cassette numérique.
À l’image d’un véhicule rétro-futuriste sans cesse rafistolé, Ledymer se perd dans les confins de l’univers en rejouant des airs qu’il ne veut pas oublier.
Ainsi, il découpe et scotche nombre de boucles audio de son cru qui lui permettent de rejouer le temps à sa guise, sans nostalgie, coincé dans le jus de l’époque, juste ce qu’il faut.
L’espoir du renouveau et de nous offrir un présent inattendu.
