i've been obsessed with hot mulligan lately, as has everyone, as soon as i heard the original i immediately jumped into ableton, wrote the cover, didn't know how to legally go about uploading covers so i shot a video so people could actually see it, here we are hahaha

i shot in very low light with cranked ISO settings so the video is a little grainy but i shot it in about two hours and it was more a test than anything

I don't really care if there are problems with this, except for that bit at the end don't know what I was thinking there, had it sitting around for a while and decided it sounded good enough so here we are. I like it, chill, did homework to it, whatever fam.

So like, this will probably be it from this EP because I've ended up putting tonnes more effort into the other tracks, hopefully so they can get proper releases (this future bass/chill thing is so dope my god) hopefully on promoter channels.

Man I love Daft Punk, Discovery is the best album of all time it's just so fantastic. Digital Love is by far my favourite song of all time but Something About Us is the next best on that album and damn is it a good song.

I wanted to do something with a Daft Punk song since I started producing music but I never wanted to ruin the beauty (which hopefully I haven't done here). I was messing around with Something About Us acapella experimenting with sound design and mix techniques (as shown in the preview I posted last week) while feeling down and ended up doing a full blown song out of it which I'm actually extremely happy with, more so than I am with how Don't turned out, 

Anyway enough with the rambling haha, this is a chill/future remix I've made of Daft Punk's Something About Us off their Discovery Album. I'm happy with it and hopefully you will be too. Definitely made for someone, that's for me to know and for them to decide whether they think it's for them or not.

a friend of mine likes beyonce, so i decided to mess with the partition vocal and gave it a go, started with just that "take all, of me" section just to mess with sound design and ended up as a full song

ive had a lot of positive feedback on this and am really happy with probably all but the mastering, ive been prouder and prouder of my work lately but it's probably because ive put more effort into the little things and making tiny things perfect

Huge fan of Clayon James/Cib and Sugar Pine 7, after hearing the original and seeing that he also released the vocal track I started experimenting with it (less than a month ago damn this is the quickest song I've ever done) and threw this together.
