Premiere: DJ FEELTOOMUCH – The Get Down [PANR007]

With hypnotic grooves and driving tribal elements, I want to take the listener on a journey into an exciting, immersive world. Beneath the darker rhythms, melodic highlights keep flashing through, gradually allowing more and more emotion to emerge. This tense and emotional atmosphere eventually dissolves into energetic, joyful bouncing, all with the aim of reaching a pure ecstatic release.

This set was recorded live at Æden in Berlin on the weekend of 9th & 10th June 2025. With thanks to our friends at SoundCloud for helping us to make this set available.

DJ and producer KIM SWIM is making waves with her bold, genre-fluid sound and non-conformist spirit. Originally from South Korea and now based in Berlin, she grew up in cities across Germany—an upbringing that shaped her diverse musical identity. Just before graduating, she left law school to pursue her true passion: music.

Since then, KIM SWIM has quickly built a strong presence in Berlin’s nightlife, with standout sets at Boiler Room, HÖR, RSO, Funkhaus, Watergate, and more. She holds residencies at DNA Club in Munich and Gotec in Karlsruhe, and her reach now spans across Europe with gigs at Mondo Disko, Radion, Thuishaven, and Kilometre25. In early 2025, she toured South Africa with shows at Modular and &Club.

As a producer, KIM SWIM is gaining momentum with releases on Hot Meal Records and Polyamor. Her track “Hands Up High” has seen support from major artists, cementing her reputation as one to watch.

Her sound blends funky house, bouncy techno, trance, hard house, baile funk and beyond—always high-energy, always playful. With major festival debuts lined up for summer 2025, including Teletech, Monegros, Electric Love and Deichbrand, KIM SWIM is just getting started.

Mind Over Matter

This is truly one of my favorite sets, and it's even cooler that it's a genuine live recording.
I simply adore the mix of old-school hard house music, which no one else can recreate, and new-school trance. Oh, and a remix or two here and there is also acceptable. What can you say against “Turn Me Out Mix by Baron von Trax” and “Yeah by Club Angel”? They always hit the spot and rock hard. 
Anyway, the start is smooth. One of my new favorite tracks is the first one, which is a great opener or, theoretically, an encore track... Things really get going at 7:45 with “Speed It Up by Club Cavier a Dr. Bounce Remix.” By then at the latest, everyone is free of anxiety and wants to dance, and it was still early... Next on the list is Mr Daddy Trance, with “Kickn' Hard remix,” his only track, I would say, with a real old-school hard house vocal and new-school vibe, exactly what I like. What everyone else likes too are brand new tracks and, above all, unreleased ones that no one knows. That's why the next tune is “Watch My Body” by... What do you think of it? Also brand new at 36:30 from BNZN, “Its not over” is also a real hard house bomb, great work! One track that really enchanted everyone was “Turn Of The Lights,” which no one had heard before. The classic M1 organ melody just had a different feel to it... 
What's the best way to end a power dance set? The right vibe and feelings... That's why “Desire to Stay by X-Club” is so intense. The only thing that gave me even more feelings and goosebumps was “Feel Right by 22 Interns,” a duo that rose to the top last year with various tracks. What an experience...
For anyone who couldn't hear it, now you can! 
I definitely want to mention my favorite artist, who has one track per set that is a must. Shoutout to the legend Tony De Vit R.I.P. Burning Up the 3rd Track in the List........ Tears come to my eyes as I write and listen. He and many others created such awesome music with the simplest of means, something that hardly anyone manages to do today. That 20s Love Parade feeling is indescribable, I wasn't even alive then. Still, it's kind of cool just to imagine it: flip phones, calling your friends, going out to party without worries, without social media, without stress. I try to capture that vibe every time... 
A huge thank you to everyone who listened, was there, contributed, and supported! 
A huge thank you also to the BSM crew, without whom this would not have been possible... I hope I can play more evenings like this soon. Oh, and I've put together some live crowd recordings, which I think are really cool.
