Yo Yo it’s the Mixtape Punisher himself DJ T-Money! Im a music lover from Jersey City, NJ that got my first set of turntables and records in 2002 and never looked back. Since a young kid I was surrounded by music I was fortunate to grow up around a jazz/soul band so my ear for music has range. I remember it like yesterday I was sitting in the lunchroom and my friend had a mixtape by DJ E Double the blends, the mixes, my ears were amazed by what I heard I asked him where did he get that tape from and he directed me to the famous “Stan’s Square Records” RIP Stan 🙏🏽 his shop was famous in Jersey City especially for mixtape DJs like myself you had to give audition tapes to get selected to be sold in his store and if you were that was your stamp of approval the whole city would know who you were if you were showcased in “The Book” it was like how albums dropped he would place you in the book based off of anticipation & demand  and then u might make the first page which is elite only spot for Top DJs he just really helped create real money for young black men in the 90’s and early 2000’s and as a white man you have to 🫡  miss him dearly take me back to the old days 🙏🏽 anywho 😂 I went there and asked to see the the book that had all of the local DJs and my first mixtape I purchased I don’t remember the name, but I remember The DJ, DJ Double 07 fast-forward. I go to my cousin’s house and he has DJ equipment where he is doing the same kind of mixes and blends he let me do my first mix & from that point on I was hooked so the sounds you hear me mix is just that 30 plus years of influence from music when I hear a song I hear it differently from every one else I hear sounds people don’t even notice knowing how producers operate or just knowing songs fully I don’t HEAD them I fFEEL them and that’s how I produce music it’s feeling in some of my darkest times I create my best music so enjoy a peek into the sounds of me 💯
