Well this show is something different to the norm Bass Scoops stuff, it’s a Myriad Recordings and Smooth and Groove Records special edition I  recorded  live interviews at their joint club night in the summer of 2024 in Whitney UK.

The night  was a  bit of  a who’s who of proper drum and bass and we got to interview the artists playing on the night  alongside the people at the labels and club that helped make such a great night come together.  Featuring living  legends of the scene  such as PHD, Villem, Madcap and some other  super talented artists too.As always on B Scoops radio  we’ve cut the interview with tracks from the artists featured on the night, drawing from  the excellent back catalogs of both Myriad and Smooth and Groove.

K3Bee makes a welcome return with a new EP of his hybrid jungle beats. You never quite know what to expect when you press play on a K3Bee EP and this is no exception. The opener Cold hits the listener with oldskool pads and an orchestra of breaks. Rotate keeps the oldskool inspiration with progressive breakbeats, summery pads and techno-inspired stabs. Rfair changes the style with more rolling evolving beats and lo-fi tinges of jazz. The title track 'Rhythm Trip' bounces around your speakers with stuttering breaks, thumping bass stabs and ominous pads. The final track 'Out There' is another rolling affair with stepping beats and lo-fi melodics to bring this EP of mid 90's inspired jungle rhythms to a close.
