DRUM002 | Kyiv artists on Albert van Abbe's DRUM label.

Van Abbe performed his NONDUAL Live A/V at the newly opened concert hall of Club ∄ 'K41' back in October 2020. NONDUAL was presented as an exhibition & series of live concerts. They featured a string of talented artists from Kyiv, some of them residents of Club ∄. DRUM002 (digital + limited tapes) features a set of ambient / experimental techno tunes by Nastya Vogan, Burning Woman, Gael & Zauber, Zavoloka and ϙue. They function perfectly during early (or late) hours in the club, or enjoy them during your soothing headphone commutes. The NONDUAL album is out now on Raster.

Amid all the turmoil around the world, we're happy to welcome towLie to the series. She is is a DJ, producer, and club promoter from Stockholm, Sweden. Running the käfTen label, she boasts releases by LVRIN, Egyptian Eyeliner, Klorex 55 as well as her own productions. She also releases music under the aliases Skitungen, Empfänger, sugaR and sees her work also on the Bron Free and CAF? labels. Our best description of her sound is a crunchy and bumping take on electro, techno. Don't take our word for it, check out her gritty, hour-long selection full of wonky twists and turns.

We're excited to welcome Anna Hjalmarsson to the GF series. As a DJ, the Frankfurt-based sound artist is a resident at iconic Offenbach club Robert Johnson and local EOS Radio. She is the founder of the independent label Stoscha which features music by Guenter Råler, Air Max '97, Geocities, and others. In her recent project Echoes from the club, Hjalmarsson entered the empty spaces of Robert Johnson in Frankfurt for a set of field recordings that collected lost sounds and traces of noise from the space, mounting them into a set of samples and loops. The artist does numerous installations that speak to her Scandinavian background and combines her sound design and composition techniques. Her selection for the series is wall-to-wall techno and electronics that clearly show her distinctive style. Lock in!

A well crafted five tracker journey is a debut collab by two veterans, Christian Kroupa discovering his darker shades coming off of an LP on Natural Sciences under his Alleged Witches moniker, while Le Chocolat Noir is no stranger either with seals of approval on Return to Disorder and L.I.E.S among others.

Get ready for plenty of melodies, massive chords and menacing vocals spiced with an epic acid remix by the Mannequin boss Alessandro Adriani.

A new imprint hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia, KRI aims to capture the lost futures of EBM, electro and nu-wave from the 80s while pairing them with future-focused productions of the now. Named after post-punk group Otroci Socializma, the label ran by local DJs and promoters Schrauff & Lavka will showcase records enjoyed both in the club and at home, while re-issuing obscure and timeless records alongside fresh material from producers across the globe.

Opening production ‘The Quest’ welcomes a futuristic electro ride through warped vocals and resonant synths to set the tone, before Alessandro Adriani’s take on the track dives into darker, murkier territories as he serves up a powerful acid-flecked remix. On the flip, ‘The Hate That You Preach’ continues the dystopian feel with a chuggy production guided by vocal echoes, while ‘Electro City Express’ takes cues from its title with a surging, sweeping journey through cinematic synths. B3 ‘Contraint Attached’ rounds out the vinyl offering with a dark yet immersive and absorbing tumble through post-punk and synth-wave influences for an intoxicating trip. The release also comes with a digital bonus in the form of the PAN YU version of ‘Electro City Express’ - offering up a ray of light and an abundance of energy via intergalactic leads, bubbling electronics and nimble percussion throughout.

I am honored to welcome Milan Hermess next on Haus Nummer 11. 

Milan is a true music freak and vinyl lover with over a decade of DJing experience and co-runs the ever evolving Mechatronica, a Berlin-based record label, promoter and collective founded in 2012. 

Heavily influenced by the West Coast Sound of Holland and Berlin’s nightlife culture, his mixes touch upon all genres within alternative dance music. For HN11, he cooked up a thrilling mix of moody soundscapes, heavy percussion, trippy rollers and a pinch of classy electro. 

Be sure to catch him at @mechatronicamusic's next club night at @sameheads on the 26th of November 2022 or at one of their future events at @oxi-garten and Sameheads in 2023.
