I'm a bit late to this, but I really hope things go well for you, Tachin. It seems like you've got big plans ahead of you, and I hope you are able to succeed in what you want to do! I know you're not leaving permanently, but I just wanted to say that you've been such an inspiration to me ever since I was around 9 to 10 years old, both in making music and just internet content in general. I don't think I would be as interested in it as I am now if it weren't for you. I'm 18 now and I still enjoy your content. Anyways, good luck in the future, dude. I'll be excited to see you again soon!

Hey there!
Well... I want to share a couple of words with you all.

I'm now 26, My priorities have been shifting along the way I've been with my girlfriend. I need to stay earthbound in order to keep improving other aspects of my life. Especially my mental health, if I'm planning to settle down with a demanding job, and eventually have a family.

I'm studying for a Medical degree, in order to be actually useful to society, fulfill my knowledge in Neuroscience (perhaps), and have a guaranteed income. And for the next months and a whole year, I have to finish my internship studies.

Thankfully, I've been at home since COVID arrived in my country, but it's inevitable that I'll have to go back to work at the hospital in the next couple of weeks (no specific date confirmed). 

During these last couple of years, I've been struggling with depression, I've grown a lot, but there's still work to do for me. Reconnecting myself with my silly ideas was such a therapeutic experience, in order to just come up with whatever I want. I wish I could have the same attitude for my real-life projects.

The process of creating is priceless. However, having a physical "reward" for my efforts it's something I have never experienced. 

I don't feel good enough to go monetize everything, it feels wrong to get paid for using someone else's ideas. However, there's a difference between appropriating those, and be inspired to create something similar... after all, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (that mediocrity can pay to greatness), I don't like to ask for donations. Of course, I'm grateful if I receive any, but want to feel that I earned them instead of pressuring you all for support.

Sometimes, I'm afraid to share my stuff. In a way that I'm not good enough (by "normal" standards), however, I don't aim to be a commercial artist. In a way, I still have a long way to improve, I'm far from a professional. Well... I'm quite shy overall, I rarely use discord or other social media to talk. 

I'm kinda bummed that besides me putting a lot of effort to share my technical growth on youtube, I'm practically stuck on just a couple of views(I do care more about comments) in comparison to my 2008 - 2012 era), but I understand that's the prince for being inactive for so long.

However, that made me find my real audience. I've made a couple of friends who I'm grateful to and are the ones that truly inspire me to keep going.

So to sum things up... I think I'll cease my activity (again) both here and on Youtube, NOT QUITTING, but I might be away longer between upload dates. I will continue to upload stuff as long as my brain sparks some ideas (well, most of the time, I drop many tracks at once because that's when I'm motivated to come up with things).

There are many projects I'll still have to cover (especially my plumber tunes, which I'm rooting to use in a proper fangame/original thing), as well I wish to come up with more original songs in the future, however, I really need to use my mind and time to stay focused on my medical studies. 

Speaking of which, here's a nice transcription of one of my tunes, "Hopping Cliffside".
