Release Info: 
Hailing from its mothership label Circus Recordings, Yousef resurfaces his supplementary outlet Carioca Records with a much more musical approach. Unlike Circus, Carioca is designed to be less of a reflection of Yousefs DJ sets, but rather opening up a wider musical latitude, offering an opportunity to release more hypnotic house and techno, not always aimed at the DJ’s, but instead the music enthusiast.
 
Off the back of headlining sets at Glastonbury & Burning Man Festivals and a series of dates at Space Ibiza during the final season for the legendary club, Dave Seaman has been on a roll this summer. His record label, Selador Recordings also continues to go from strength to strength reaching the milestone of 50 releases with Dave's own production 'Nightfalls' which enjoyed both widespread critical acclaim and some healthy Beatport Chart action. 

And now Dave boards the Carioca express with a muscular two tracker under the Palindrome People Project banner. 
"These two tracks both started out as one thing but I ended up going backwards to go forward and then they turned into something else entirely", explains Dave. "Hence the palindrome tag, sometimes when making music retracing your steps can be more productive than just ploughing on."

If you're still none the wiser, a Palindrome is a word that reads the same backwards as forwards. And so accordingly, let us present 'Do Geese See God' & 'Devil Never Even Lived'. Get it?!

One thing we do know for sure, whichever way you look at it, be it forwards, backwards or even upside down, the Palindrome People certainly know their way. You down with PPP?

ollowing their "Aphelion" ep (3000 Grad) Seth Schwarz & Westerby team up for another 3-tracker, released on Hamburg based Lost Diaries The German/Danish collaboration delivers "Zodiac", a melodic, groovy tech house track, which is accompanied by 2 remixes - one from @https://soundcloud.com/kollektivost , the other from @https://soundcloud.com/martinwaslewski

Here's the sun stretches languid. In warmth we are but one pulsing flower, petals stretching far into a nothingness, trying to reach something we will never touch, sustain a hunger that will never be satisfied. Bloom, that your petals might fall. You were always most beautiful in the after.

„Die ersten Gespräche über eine gemeinsame Produktion mit @thomas-westerby (@onemanorchestra) für die EP gab es im KB18 in Kopenhagen nach einem Auftritt“, verrät @seth-schwarz, der mit Westerby die besagte „Zodiac“ EP produzierte. Sie wollten eine Symbiose aus progressiven Elementen und melancholischen Melodien in Kombination mit einem organischen Instrument schaffen. „Und das alles auf einem treibenden Beat Richtung Sternenhimmel, raus aus dem Orbit“, so der Musiker ergänzend.

The enigmatic Solstice brings us his “Yelrih One” EP, a four­tracker comprised of the eponymous namesake and three interpretations by a handful of keen peers. The original ‘Fall’ is the French producer at his deepest and most characteristic: a slow burner that’s pure atmosphere and haunting vocals courtesy of Lea Luxanima. Juan then swoops in to turn up the echo, giving us an even more cinematic version before Anton Dhouran strips things back to focus on Lea’s voice and accompanying keys. This one begs for a sunrise session near a body of water, though it’s Ivory Mantra’s final remix that has all the trappings of a dance floor igniter.

Der Tach - Nacht Rhythmus

Das Herz von Tach & Nacht schlägt im 4/4 Takt, denn die Spannbreite der Releases bewegt sich vor allem zwischen deepem House und Tech - House bis hin zu Techno. Das Label ist Basis für Produktionen, die man entspannt in der Sonne liegend genießen kann, oder einem spät nachts den Rhythmus in den Körper treibt. Neben Releases von eigenen Künstlern der Tach und Nacht Familie wurden seit 2012 auch Remixe von international bekannten Künstlern wie Robert Helms, Mohn (NL) oder Jonas Saalbach veröffentlicht.     

Geboren aus einer Idee, die in einem der bekanntesten Hamburger Underground Clubs entstand, erschien bereits kurz nach der Gründung die erste Veröffentlichung.
Gefolgt von vielen weiteren digitalen- wie auch Vinylreleases, wuchs auch die Zahl der Künstler, die in der familiären Umgebung des Labels eine Plattform gefunden haben. Anfänglich als Duo mit Labelgründer Tobias Klemm und Stephan Funk geführt, komplettiert seit 2017 Holger Oppermann nun das Headteam des Labels.
