Catalognumber 23 – what else is to say? While we’re feeling the spirit of William S. Burroughs blessing this very vinyl-enigma, &ME went particularly mysterious ways to transcend the category ‘dance track’ for this one.

The meditation through bass had been the major discipline of some of his latest cuts, but what you’ll find on this A-side, one could certainly call the perfection of somnambulistic peaktime-fever. The way he’s kneading the lower frequencies, how he’s channeling the expansion and decay of bass must inevitably lead to some aroused moaning. Good vocal-selection, for that matter! Then there are those tension building synths and a staccato-frenzy in the break that might be the ultimate ecstasy-trigger of the season.

“Locust” on B comes in with some smoothly looped E-guitar-coolness, adding whispering hi-hats and a comparatively rich percussive architecture. But then again: rolling bass barrels like a signature and a defence breaking build up that’s ensued by liberating pressure compensation in mighty breaks.
Two demonstrations of understated and sophisticated peaktime-emphasis, so to say. Or differently put: a flawless double-A-side.

The next EP is coming by a team up of some real powerhouses in the electronic music scene. Having a shared catalogue of releases on labels like Diynamic, Suara, Exploited, Parquet Recordings, Get Physical and Off Recordings should be more than proof of what these producers are capable of. Alexandros DJkevingr, Greg Ignatovich and Bruce Leroys defy the limitations of genres by mixing together progressive House and Tech House for the title track "Error 404”. The B-side “Berimbau” rounds up the EP nicely by adding some breakbeats to the whole. Finnish artist Movement Machina creates a deep Tech remix with a wonderful analogue touch.

Mika has an incredibly warm and deep voice. Deep as in tickling the low end of the frequency spectrum; and deep as in touching the deepest thoughts and emotions of the listener. Manuel Meyer has been involved in a remarkable amount of different Electronic projects for a remarkable amount of time already - yet he’s a remarkably humble producer. Both have the same hairdresser; which again is how Berholter came into existence. Together the duo creates the musical counterpart for that mellow feeling of inner warmth that lingers in the chilly air of the big city at the beginning and at the end of a long club night. In the twilight of pop-infused uplift and subtle melancholia Berholter present two irresistibly catchy tunes. Mar Dean - Come with Me EP // 

Coming in for a full on Hive Audio label debut after already contributing a track to our „Summer Slices Compilation 2018“ is Mar Dean, another long standing activist from the Swiss underground now aiming at international dancefloors with his „Come With Me EP“ release.

Opening with the title track „Come With Me“ Mar Dean approaches high energy Tech House in a truly uplifting fashion, draws inspiration from classic HardBag build-ups and finally triggers ecstatic crowd reaction with a rolling monster of a bassline accompanied by masterly crafted melodic elements in motion. A true banger with a slightly progressive twist.

Dealing with „Volcano Pigs“ we see Mar Dean coming from a slightly different angle, catering a stompy, well sculpted and defo more Techno-leaning foundation drumwise before opening things up with intricate melodic interplay and slightly dubbed out House stabs, hard filtered vocal samples and ghostly FX for spine-tingling moments on the dancefloor.

Teaming up with vocalist Nicole, Mar Dean is in for serious „Euphoria“ caused by hyper-harmonic, somewhat melancholia inducing chord progressions in combination with emotionally touching storytelling – all falling together to form the most beautiful electronic love song you've heard in ages.

Finally German producer Ron Flatter is in for a remix treatment, transforming and reshaping „Euphoria“ into a captivating, ever cascading Tech House anthem infused with huge harmonic basslines, angelic pads and a big portion of ravey, intense vibes for an ultimate peaktime takeoff. Der Tach - Nacht Rhythmus

Das Herz von Tach & Nacht schlägt im 4/4 Takt, denn die Spannbreite der Releases bewegt sich vor allem zwischen deepem House und Tech - House bis hin zu Techno. Das Label ist Basis für Produktionen, die man entspannt in der Sonne liegend genießen kann, oder einem spät nachts den Rhythmus in den Körper treibt. Neben Releases von eigenen Künstlern der Tach und Nacht Familie wurden seit 2012 auch Remixe von international bekannten Künstlern wie Robert Helms, Mohn (NL) oder Jonas Saalbach veröffentlicht.     

Geboren aus einer Idee, die in einem der bekanntesten Hamburger Underground Clubs entstand, erschien bereits kurz nach der Gründung die erste Veröffentlichung.
Gefolgt von vielen weiteren digitalen- wie auch Vinylreleases, wuchs auch die Zahl der Künstler, die in der familiären Umgebung des Labels eine Plattform gefunden haben. Anfänglich als Duo mit Labelgründer Tobias Klemm und Stephan Funk geführt, komplettiert seit 2017 Holger Oppermann nun das Headteam des Labels.
