Luv*Jam presents The Legend Of Gelert 3000.6 with two ambient dream house artists of the highest order; Melbourne’s ‘Dawn Again’ and Wuppertal’s ‘Colkin’. As we continue the descent down the 3000’s of the Snowdonia mountain range. 3000.6 is Glyder Fawr at 3279 ft (999m) and is the higher of the two Glyderau summits which is gained up a scree slope above Glyn Y Can (Lake of the Dogs). The exact highest point between Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach is a matter of debate and they are only a few metres apart so you might well want to touch them both and join the rucksack club as we wiggle down the mountain side. Artwork is made with love for the local feral mountain goat population of Snowdon Massif, who were recently touted as bate by an idiotic hunting firm from across the borders by offering ‘the chance to shoot goats in the Welsh mountains for £1000’ yes you are reading this correctly… Protect our goats, protects our mountains, let this nomadic ancient breed run free and let our music take you to the niPPiest of peaks. 222 Units only. After releasing on Hot Haus rec(ords) and Pitch Down, Rumore returns home to Discomaths with a collection of tropical beats and healing atmospheres. Cuts that are as deep and thought out, as they are danceable.

On the A- side “Tucano” is shaking its exotic feathers, surrounded by swirling arpegios and the distant whistles of the jungle. It takes you on a voyage to the deeps of the rain forest, as it alternates between the clarity of its pre-Columbian flutes and the magical mist lifted by its leads.

On the more introspective B- side, we submerge ourselves into “Boreal”, experiencing what would dusk be like in a perfect world. Emotional catharsis a waits as the intricate breaks float above the strings and pads that seem to emerge from the bottom of the ocean, and the chemical arpeggios colours the water around them.

The release closes with “La Fonte”, a pleasurable well that bubbles of new age. The humid guitars and warm vapours pass over us in a paused moment of hypnotic massage.

Her mind had been racing since she first laid her head on the pillow four hours ago. She couldn't seem to switch off. Instead she watched the hands of the clock move endlessly, each second feeling more like an hour. So many thoughts had cluttered her head that night she couldn't begin to disseminate them, so now she tried to think of nothing. Endless, empty thoughts with no beginning or end, with no problems or solutions. But the mind always wanders...

Following releases on Aussie labels like Butter Sessions, Ken Oath and Rhythm Works, last year Melbourne-based producer Furious Frank launched his own imprint, Mind Dance, self-inaugurating it with his Infinity Pool EP. For the second release, he teams up with his former collaborator DJ Fettburger, under his DJ Dogg alias, for three "otherworldly acid squelchers for the late night lurkers".
