the three original tracks cover the producer’s passion for detailed and textured leftfield techno, centered around intricate but danceable rhythmic structures and nuanced sound design. in addition, the EP houses a razor-sharp remix from DJ JM, and is rounded off with a sunkissed remix of Lust by mpeg.

mastering of all tracks is provided by Copenhagen-based producer Ctrls. tact001 will be available for digital download on the 10th May on all platforms.

the first mix in our new series, tactual tapes, comes from our friends Sound and Fury & Tea Lewis , who present a heartfelt collage of sound-system music from the afro-latin diaspora. it serves as a primer for andrés’ upcoming EP on tea’s label @spectiv_sc , as well as exploring the musical heritage that underlies their friendship. 

in their own words:  "A mix for reflection and transformation. A journey capturing the feelings of Sound and Fury's upcoming release on Tea Lewis's label spectiv. In the feels, love and anguish, memory, forward-moving."

"The mix goes some way to tell the story of how the upcoming EP project came about, via the story of how we met, connected and continue developing: Latin roots via dubstep, with the enduring drive of human-centric curiosity."

tactual’s second release comes from Studio Natura, the German-born, now Vienna-based producer & DJ. alongside Copenhagen mainstay artists Thodén and A.dixen, the EP houses five tracks exploring the leftfield side of futuristic, bass-driven psychedelia. 

through two solo-tracks plus a collaborative track with Thodén, the original tracks showcase the merging together of Studio Natura’s love for uk/leftfield techno, with the trippier sounds of trance & psy that he was exposed to during his time living in Copenhagen. the EP comes with a remix from Copenhagen-based producer A.dixen, re-constructing Agents Against Agency with four-to-the-floor functionality, plus a remix by Thodén, whose ‘Immanence Mix’ provides a dense and emotive re-interpretation of the original. mastering of all tracks is provided by Copenhagen-based producer Ctrls.

tact002 will be available for digital download on the 6th September on all platforms.

▮ tact002 is a dancefloor-dedicated five-track EP, by German-native, now Vienna-based DJ and producer @studio-natura. The EP features three original tracks by Studio Natura, a collaborative track plus a remix from @thodenn, and A.dixen @user-703375692. The five tracks represent a club-functional exploration of the leftfield side of futuristic, bass-driven psychedelia.

[Swine Premiere] Studio Natura & Thodén - Machine Delirium (Thodén's Immanence Mix)

for Serena Coelho's multidisciplinary event at Yen Gi, entitled ‘Penumbra’, we were asked to curate a soundtrack for each of the three performance spaces.

the result is three continuous pieces consisting of other artist’s music, which were then woven together in an attempt to both create a cohesive backdrop and also to instill a sense of narrative progression as each performance took place.

while all that we can offer of the performances is small snapshots, we are happy to present the music that we created, in full, for the second edition of tactual tapes.
