I just jammed on top of it with my accordina but it was too much of the three of us, so I split the stereo original, separated he_nu_ri,  mikey_a and myself on 3 tracks (softly panned like the original with mine at centre) and made some very creative use of the delete button, as Eno used to say.

That created some space that I then filled with huge reverbs. I’m afraid I didn’t really honoured the source track on this one, but it is done so I better share it.

On the wall, over my piano, synth, mac and digital stuff, is a picture called "Uskrevet Stykke" (Unwritten Piece). The painter is Roar Kjærnstad (Track image is not the painting). And this track is an attempt to put sound to this picture, that greets my every morning :-). And the picture also brings back memories of my own strugling with the keys, but also the deep fascination for the sound as it enters the whole room...

Uskrevet Stykke (Unwritten Piece)

1904, March 27, Genoa.
It is said that by studying well and taking advantage by the direction and strength of the wind, Étienne Bugnion that day, at Ponte Carrega, had scored Juventus a goal from the middle of the field.
Will it be true?
It matters little. It was the only goal in the final of the italian national football championship (senior category). The Genoa Cricket and Foot-ball Club was taking its third consecutive title, winning therefore also (and definitely) a silver cup put up for grabs by its president, George Fawcus, and to the same entitled. Very nice - you can see the remembrance photo (a bit touched up, you can tell); the gentlemen posing are footballers and are holding on to it, but to be honest there was little risk of that the cup would end up in different hands.
Of seven national trophies awarded until then, only one did not show itself in the Genoa's FC trophy museum; twelve games at all since 1899, six titles won. How many clubs in the world can boast such an average?
At its dawn in Italy, it was skimpy football, a game that few could really play.

The song was composed and performed by Manuel. I slightly arranged and mixed it, and wrote the related story.

Gestalzerfall in the airport 2024

When, at the end of July 2023, the arrival of 'Cyclone Circe' over northern Italy was announced, I was reminded of Juliette Mayniel, a French actress who had just passed away and whom I had known since 1968, when RAI aired one of the most beautiful italian TV series ever, the 'Odyssey'. In that impressive work, Juliette performed the role of Circe. 
This piece was dedicated to her and to the cyclone of the same name.
