I’ve got a dirty car
I’ve got a dirty memory
Well I came so far, walking bar to bar with the enemy

Can you even recall my name?
I’m on the slide passing obscurity
I have only myself to blame
I’m on the slide passing obscurity to complete  triviality

I’ve got a bloodied nose
But all the well-wishes have gone
That’s how it goes, I’m taking blows and have done all along

I have a tainted pride
Do you still have the autograph
Or was it chucked outside, to rot into the night for the last laugh

Can you even recall my name?

I think a wrote a song
I think it had your name in it
You hummed it all night long, although it wasn’t strong, though someone sampled it
