As a young kid growing up in Washington DC, I was interested in various cultures and musical styles and grew a deep appreciation for the different emotions that can be portrayed in film music. In the coming years, I was exposed to some of the early electro tracks of the 80s and this sparked a key interest in synthesis. In the early nineties I took some audio engineering classes at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver, CO were I started learning the concepts of the studio. 

"At this time, I realized that I wanted to further explore the power of synthesis and of creating emotion in a non-traditional approach."

I then continued my pursuit into music for film and hooked up with a director from LA and produced soundtracks for video projects.

"Ever since I can remember, the power of the movie score has amazed me. Not just the orchestra score, but the fusion of synthesis and how that could be used to empower many other emotions."

I grew a deep interest in the whole aspect of cinematography and started to pursue a degree in film postproduction.

“I always envisioned myself composing for film, but I also wanted to get a greater understanding of the entire story telling process. I felt that this would give me a different perspective to story telling through film and would help me in the pursuit of my passion.”

While maintaining a 4.0 GPA in film school, I never lost the drive discovered in the dance scene and composed and produced three Progressive House 12" singles and released through Stellar Records. I also started writing under the moniker “Array” and reached high on charts such as the Balance Promote Group with deep progressive house hits such as, “Digital Origin” and “Syntrifical”. 

In 2002, I then took a break from music while I lived in the Southern Philippines where I met my lovely wife (Featured in "Life is..." and “Lifting the People”). Back in the states, and full of inspiration from my travels, I continued exploring many influences from Middle Eastern and Renaissance to Blues and Jazz styles fusing them with a dark ambient chill approach with a drive towards film music. I focused my creativity towards the dark/deep side of film score in the suspense/thriller vein with a techno/electronic non-traditional approach.   

With this fusion, I applied this approach to remixes featured on Ova Records such as “Holmes Ives feat. Seroya Where You Are”, “Awaken” from the Sophie & Ives release “Unite Me” and “Charcoal Love” from the Holmes Ives release “In Love & Light”.
 
I also continued to study the motion picture creation process and apply his knowledge of audio production to enhance emotional aspects of film and story telling. I currently utilizes Logic Pro and a huge array of sample libraries and virtual instruments.

I also continue to stick to my roots and produce dance singles for future release in the Deep Progressive House/Electro House veins.
