Tadik is a Persian delicacy. Its something the family will fight over at the dinner table as there’s never enough to go around. It’s the most irresistible part of a daily ritual such as family dinner and in this, the most simple reminder of what makes us human. Aggression is also kindness. Darkness is also warm. Loss often means the absence of something you desire right through to your heritage. As crusty rice will tell you, beauty is not always so apparent at first sight, sometimes you have to experience it to realise why it belongs in your life forever.
